Chapter 442

Listening to Hannah''s disrespectful tone, David''s anger red, and he snapped, "A young woman like you can go ahead and get a divorce if you want, but what are you doing dragging our family into it?"

"Let me tell you, those posts you made online have been shared andmented on by countless people, and they''ve caused serious damage to our family''s reputation. I''ve spoken to awyer, and for what you''ve done, I have every right to sue you. If you don''t delete those posts immediately, I will have mywyer file awsuit."

David grew more agitated as he spoke, eventually rising to his feet and pointing a finger straight at Hannah''s nose. "I came here to discuss this with you calmly, so I hope you won''t push your luck."

Despite the force and menace in his booming voice, Hannah remainedpletely unfazed, a faint smile ying on her lips as she sat down.

A maid brought her a cup of coffee. Hannah lifted the cup, blew gently on the surface, and took a leisurely sip. Her calm demeanor was infuriating to watch.

"Are you listening to me? Pick up your phone right now and delete that post, or I''ll call mywyer immediately, and we''ll see each other in court."

Hannah set her cup down, raising an eyebrow slightly. "If you''re going to sue, then go ahead. I''m actually curious to see what ipetentwyer would even take your case. You''d be better off finding one from out of state, because I know all the local ones."

"Do you really think I haven''t found awyer? Let me tell you, the Woods family may have fallen on hard times, but we still have our old connections. It doesn''t matter if mywyer is local or from out of state; the point is, I''ve already found one. Now take the post down, do you hear me?"

He had assumed his threats would intimidate her, but they seemed to have the opposite effect, merely piquing her curiosity.

"Everything I posted is the truth. If you have a problem with it, then show me your evidence to the contrary. You knew your daughter was seducing a married man, and you dly reaped the benefits she brought home from him-the jewelry, the cars, the house, even the business contracts. While you were lining your pockets, did you ever stop to think where all of it wasing from? Sue me if you want. I''m ready."

Hannah finished, crossing her arms and leaning back slightly.

She honestly hadn''t expected him to be so shameless as toe to her home directly.

And not only did he show up, but he did so with such arrogant indignation.

He really was just like Sandra. The saying ''like mother, like daughter'' was true- shameless parents raise a shameless child.

"Hannah, just listen to some advice.

You''re already making a scene with this divorce; spreading all these rumors online about the Rosenberg. family If they decide toe after you, no one will be able to help you,"

Edith chimed in from the side, unable to stay silent any longer.

"You''ve already made an enemy of the Rosenbergs, don''t make an enemy of us, too. It''s better to have another friend than another enemy, you know that. Besides, shifting the me to us won''t do you any good. My daughter is already abroad, and you''ve taken back everything she was given. Continuing this will only ruin our reputation, and we can''t afford to pay you any damages. You''re a young woman; you can''t bully two old people like us, can you?"
