Chapter 408

"What are you doing here? I thought I told you not toe to the main office unless it was absolutely necessary."

Mary''s expression was grim as she stared at her.

Hannah waspletely unfazed by her hostile attitude.

"I have my reasons for being here. I gave your son the divorce papers yesterday, but he refused to sign. I went again today, but as I was leaving, I saw him have them thrown in the trash."

As she drove away, she had seen the young receptionist tossing her envelope into a bin by the entrance.

That was why she was here now.

Hannah pulled another copy of the agreement from her bag, ced it on the table, and tapped it lightly. "Could you please pass this along to your son and tell him to sign it immediately? And you might want to remind him that as long as he refuses to sign, I won''t back down. I''ll start leaking details about his affair with Sandra. People know he cheated and that she was his mistress, but they don''t know just how intimate they were. But I do."

“Sandra loved to show off, so she posted a lot on Facebook back then. I have screenshots of everything. If he doesn''t sign today, I will post all the evidence of their loving rtionship online."

As if worried Mary wouldn''t believe her, Hannah had thoughtfully printed out the screenshots she had saved and handed them over.

"This was when I had a high fever. I asked Lionel to take me to the hospital, but he refused. He dropped me off to go stargazing with Sandra. Here''s Sandra''s Facebook post and the doctor''s note from my visit that night."

Hannah nced down at the documents, a bitter feeling rising in her chest, which she covered with a faint, ironic smile.

She had no interest in wasting any more words on Mary. She left the two documents on the table and turned to leave.

If she didn''t have the signed divorce papers by tonight, she would post everything online.

This wasn''t cruelty. She was merely learning from Lionel, giving him a taste of his own medicine.

Mary stared at the two documents on her desk, a headache throbbing in her temples.

She pinched the bridge of her nose, took out her phone, and sent a picture of the documents to Lionel.

[I think your wife has truly gone mad! I don''t care how you two want to fight, but why must you drag the Rosenberg family into it! Don''t you know how much trouble this ise causing at thepany? Sign the damn papers right now and give them to Hannan do you hear me Stop this useless nonsense. If this continues, you won''t just lose your factory, you''ll be out of Sova for good!]

When Lionel received his mother''s message, his face darkened instantly as he stared at the photo on his screen.

He couldn''t quite recall the details of that night, but he had a vague memory of leaving a sick Hannah behind on a rainy evening.

    or

He couldn''t even remember why he had donest. He thought Sandra had called him crying hysterically, saying shed been in a car ident had a bad fall-something that sounded life-threatening at the time.

That was why he''d had to leave Hannah. He seemed to recall trying to exin it to her afterward, but she wouldn''t listen and had started an unreasonable fight with him.”
