The visitor was none other than Lionel.
Hannah rolled her eyes inwardly the moment she saw him. For him to show up now, he was definitely up to no good.
Still, a part of her was curious. After his mother hadid out the ultimatum, what would he choose? Was it possible that after everything that had happened, he''d have a sudden change of heart and decide to help her?
But as soon as the thought surfaced, Hannah reminded herself not to be moved even if he did choose her this time. After all, he should have chosen her from the very beginning!
"Hannah, can we talk?" Lionel said, stepping in front of her.
Hannah nodded. "I just saw Quennel. I know your mother told you to go to the factory. Everyone''s waiting for your decision. Since you''re here, just tell me what you''ve chosen. Are you going to the factory, or are you flying to Kiron to find Sandra?"
Lionel froze. He knew Quennel would tell Hannah, but he hadn''t expected it to be so fast. Were they really meeting so frequently behind his back?
His brow furrowed. "Well, what do you want me to do? Find Sandra, or continue helping you with this mess?"
Smack-
The p came without warning. Lionel''s head rang, and he stared at her, a flicker of disbelief in his eyes.
He''d been hit?
By Hannah?
Wait, why did she hit him out of the blue?
Lionel''s mind raced, trying to figure out what he had just said wrong. Why would Hannah suddenly fash out and stap him. He reyed his words but couldn''t find anything wrong with them.
"Lionel, you''re making me answer your multiple-choice question?"
Hannah shook her stinging hand. She decided she should start carrying something
in her purse; pping people was a two-way street, and it hurt. A real Pyrrhic victory.
"I never realized how pathetic you
could be. If Hell you to go to the factory and let this scandal explode, you''ll me me when you can''t contain it saying it was my choice. If I tell you to go abroad to find her, you''ll skip the factory, and when your mother gets angry, I''ll be the one to take the fall."
Hannah''s eyes were filled with a profound disgust as she stared at him.
She never imagined the man she once loved could be so repulsive, so adept
at shirking all responsibility and making her the scapegoat.
"Let me ask you, Lionel, if this were happening to Sandra, would you ask her to make the choice for you? Or would you make the decision yourself?"
Lionel was stunned. He hadn''t meant it like that. He just wanted Hannah to understand how difficult his position was; he was only asking for her opinion.

"Hannah, from th
mother told me, my decision was firm. I was going to Kiron to find Sandra and bring her back to face justice just wanted to talk to you. Its beer so long since were really talked."
"I don''t know if this whole factory issue popping up now is my mother''s doing, if
she''s deliberately trying to make things difficult for me."
