Chapter 376

Since Hannah had said as much, Samuel knew there was no point in arguing. He would just have to trust herpletely.

That evening, at eight o''clock, in a five-star hotel.

Samuel drove Hannah, following the siblings'' car.

When they reached the private room, Gary greeted them warmly and handed the menu to Hannah.

Hannah didn''t hold back, ordering all the restaurant''s signature and most expensive dishes.

Although they were part of the family, they didn''t control thepany and were currently living off their parents'' supplementary cards.

So, as Hannah ordered one expensive dish after another, their faces began to grow grim.

They thought she was finished, but then she continued, and with every dish she named, their expressions darkened a little more until their faces were like thunderclouds.

Seeing their stormy expressions, Hannah finally closed the menu and handed it to the waiter.

She smiled at them. "Did I order too much? If so, I can cancel a few things. I wouldn''t want you to spend too much."

Looking at Hannah''s facade of consideration, when it was clear she would have happily ordered more, the siblings wanted to just get up and leave. If it weren''t for needing Lionel''s help, they would have walked out. They''d never met someone so shameless. Even as someone''s guest, you were supposed to show some restraint. She was doing this on purpose. This woman was definitely doing this on purpose! Gary, however, was moreposed, having had some experience with business dinners.

"Not at all. If it''s not enough, feel free to order more."

At his words, Hannah actually picked up the menu again, showing no signs of politeness, and ordered five or six more dishes.

Cherry was so furious she almost stood up and started yelling, but Gary held her back.

He shot her a warning nce. They had already brought her here, and Lionel would be arriving any minute. If something went wrong now, all their efforts would be for nothing.

Cherry knew this, of course, but she hadn''t expected Hannah to be so brazen. It felt like she was just toying with them.

"Alright, that should be enough." Hannah smiled as she closed the menu, noticing Cherry looked ready to explode.

    "You booked such arge private

room just for the four of us. Did

    you

invite someone else? If so, when are

they arriving? Should we wait for

them, or can we start eating when the foodes?" ''

Hannah''s seemingly casual question made the siblings'' hearts skip a beat. They exchanged a look of disbelief. Had she figured it out?

"Looks like I was right. Judging by your guilty expressions, you invited Lionel, didn''t you?"

Her words hit Gary and Cherry like a thunderp.

    No... impossible!

How could she have guessed? Or did she know all along and only agreed toe to trap them?

    "Hannah, what nonsense are you

talking about? We just invited you to dinner to apologize. There''s no other mhearing Gary''s heart was racing but he didn''t dare tell the truth.

His n was to feign ignorance when Lionel arrived and act surprised to see him.

"Is that so? Well, if you didn''t invite him, then never mind. I was just thinking that if

you had, I might have considered talking things over with him for your sake."
