"Since Lionel used our marital funds to take you on vacation, it''s only fair that I get half of it back."
Hannah continued scrolling through Sandra''s other travel photos, taking
screenshots as she went.
"Lionel and I were married for three years, and we never went on a single trip
together. Meanwhile, you''ve traveled halfway across the world with him. I''d say he''s spent over a million dors on you, wouldn''t you?"
With every word Hannah spoke, the color drained from Sandra''s face, her lips turning a deathly pale.
Even Samuel, standing nearby, was stunned by her tactics.
Now this was his sister.
No ordinary person could pull off something so extreme.
"Hannah, don''t you go too far! My rtionship with Lionel is purely tonic! What''s wrong with a good friend treating another to a trip?"
"Sandra, you should have at least deleted all your old Facebook posts before saying something like that. Anyone looking at these would think you two were a couple, not ''good friends.""
Hannah rolled her eyes and added with a hint of sarcastic sweetness, "But don''t rush to delete them now. I''ve already screenshotted everything. Every post you''ve made for the past three years."
That was a lie, of course. It was an idea that had just urred to her on the way
over.
But she had already messaged her assistant to log into her Facebook and start saving the evidence.
This was all leverage she could use against them. Of course she was going to save
it.
"What... what do you want from me! I''ve already given everything up! You took back all the gifts! Your divorce has nothing to do with me!"
Sandra was screaming now, her voice thick with hysteria.
Samuel had intentionally left the door ajar when they came in. Even though this was
a VIP room, there were still family members of other patients walking by in the hallway.
As furious as she was, Sandra didn''t
dare raise her voice too much. If caused a scene and someone récognized her, the humiliation would be unbearable.
she
"The gifts were just the physical assets. All these expenses, the ones that aren''t so easy to see, add up to a significant amount. Of course, t have to get that money back
Hannah raised an eyebrow, a triumphant look on her face.
The more smug Sandra had been before, the more pathetic she looked now.
Sandra took several deep breaths, trying to calm herself.
She understood the situation clearly now. Hannah was ready for a scorched-earth fight, and there was nothing she could do to stop her.
"Hannah, do you know who drugged you the day before your wedding? I know. I can tell you."
After saying this, Sandra swallowed hard, her eyes fixed on Hannah.
"I''ll tell you, and then we''ll call it even. We''ll go our separate ways and never see each other again, okay?"
Her heart pounded in her chest as she watched Hannah''s face, waiting for a reaction.
She couldn''t wait to see the look on Hannah''s face when she found out that the man who drugged her was none other than th
person she respected most, Quennel.
The room fell silent for a few seconds.
Then, Hannah finally spoke, her voice t. "Not interested."
"The person who drugged you... what? What did you say?"
"My sister said she''s not interested. Are you deaf?" Samuel chimed in with a roll of
his eyes.
He had heard about that incident, but he didn''t understand why Hannah would bring it up now.
"I don''t care about that. Mywyer will prepare the bill and send it to you."
