Chapter 365

Left behind, Cherry sank onto the sofa in a rage, mming her fists into the cushions.

    "Gary!"

"What are you yelling for? I''m not deaf!" Gary snapped back, equally furious. "That damn Gloria! I knew something was off when she insisted oning to the main house. I told her Mom and Dad weren''t here, but she didn''t care. Turns out she was just using me!"

Fuming, Gary grabbed his phone to call Gloria.

"Damn it, the bitch blocked me!" he eximed in disbelief, turning to his sister, momentarily at a loss for words.

Cherry was so angry she felt faint. Forgetting all sibling loyalty, sheshed out, "Fine! I knew I shouldn''t have listened to you today. You said we could humiliate her, but look what happened! We''re the ones who got humiliated!"

"Just keep your head down for a while, so Hannah doesn''t decide to bring this up at the dinner table!"

Cherry shot him a venomous re before storming off.

The next morning, a Saturday, Hannah slept in before heading downstairs for breakfast.

She had just finished eating when a servant announced that Lionel had arrived and was asking to see her.

Samuel, who had juste down, looked at Hannah with an expression of eager anticipation.

    "Let him in."

"Well, well, speak of the devil. Perfect timing. I''ll just bring my breakfast over here to eat!"

Samuel happily trotted off to retrieve his breakfast.

Just as he returned, Lionel walked in.

He was carrying a luxury brand shopping bag.

"This is thetest design. Thest ne... Owen made a mistake and sent it to Sandra."

Lionel opened the box and presented the ne to her.

Hannah didn''t even nce at it.

"A mistake? Owen seems to make a lot of ''mistakes," she said, looking pointedly at Lionel.

Sometimes she wondered if he was genuinely that foolish or just far too trusting of Owen.

    Lionel remained silent.

"You''re far too generous with Sandra. Naturally, Owen caters to her. Lionel, your attitude determines your subordinates actions. So stop ming everyone else and take a look at yourself for a change."

Hannah couldn''t help but roll her eyes internally.

Lionel nodded. “I know. I''ll deal with him ordingly when I get back."

His words hung in the air, followed by a dead silence.

Hannah stared at her work chat group, Samuel kept his head down and ate his breakfast, and Lionel, seeing her dismissive attitude,

    frowned. Finally, he spoke again.

    I''m no

    ming you for

sending people to get the items. Tve

already had them taken care of. I''ll

have all of those things sold. How

about I buy you a whole new

    collection of jewelry?"

"If you have time for that, you''d be better off getting awyer to sort out the

division of assets. That''s what''s more important."

Hannah''s words made Lionel''s frown deepen.

"Hannah, do you really want to divorce me?"

“Lionel, a month ago, you asked me to sign divorce papers to cate Sandra. So now, to cate Samuel why don''t you go ahead and sign them? It''s only fair, right? Tit for tat.”

Samuel froze. ??? Is that right? Can you really do tit for tat with something like this?

Samuel nced at Lionel. He had to admit, the man''s expression was truly foul right now.

"What''s the matter? Are you the only one allowed to cate a woman? Am I not allowed to cate a man? Lionel, why must you be so selfish?"
