It was a video of Lionel carrying her from the car, gently cing her on a hospital gurney.
It was followed by a clip of him sitting outside the operating room, hands sped, brow furrowed in a pained expression, as if he were praying for her safety.
Seeing the videos, Sandra''s eyes filled with tears. It felt as if all the grievances she had suffered over the past few days had simply melted away.
He still had feelings for her! If he didn''t, why would he have waited outside the operating room for so long? Why would he have worn such a tormented expression?
Sandra wiped away her tears and took a deep breath. Thinking back, although Lionel had been cold to hertely and seemed preupied with Hannah, he had always rushed to her side whenever she was in trouble.
It was her own impatience, her feeling that their divorce was imminent, that had pushed Hannah to be more and more extreme, leading them to this point.
After a moment of reflection, Sandra picked up her phone and sent a message to Owen, asking him to keep a close eye on Lionel and report any unusual activity.
Then, she called her mother and told her to get the ne from the safe and have it ready for Gloria.
Meanwhile, at the Temple estate, Hannah and Samuel were enjoying afternoon tea.
"Was this your doing?" Hannah asked, looking up from the trending videos on her phone.
Samuel set down his spoon, ced his right hand over his heart in a gentlemanly gesture, and gave a slight bow. "A humble creation of my own, I admit. Not quite as polished as Sandra''s previous work, but meaningful nheless."
"Meaningful in what way?" It was a move Hannah hadn''t anticipated.
By only showing the scenes at the hospital, it avoided implicating the Temple family, which would have happened if he''d released footage of Sandra''s humiliating departure from their home.
"After Sandra''sst few videos, the
inte has been shipping ''Lionwoods'' hard. People have created fan pages, fan art, even fan fiction about them," Samuel exined. "From what I''ve seen, if anyone dares to suggest they aren''t a couple, their fans attack like a pack of dogs. And since neither Lionel nor Sandra has denied it, people are even more convinced it''s real." He continued, "If Lionel were to announce his marriage now not only would hispany''s stock plummet, but his reputation would be in tatters, especially since he publicly denied being engaged."
Hannah blinked slowly, a thoughtful expression on her face as she looked at Samuel.
"In this day and age, public opinion can make a small shop an overnight sensation
orpletely destroy a publicpany. In the age of the inte, all it takes to
ruin someone is a few keystrokes." Samuel gave her a slight wink.
"Since Sandra loves using videos to unt their love affair'' while ndering you, I figured we might as well help push her boat along with the make her dreams, mentele true." He crossed his arms, puffed out his chest, and looked at Hannah like a proud peacock, clearly fishing for praise.
"You''re really something else," Hannah said with a genuine smile. "Doing good deeds without seeking recognition The Woods family. certainly doesn''t have the money to buy trending topics for her, yet you''re so generous. I''ll treat you to dinner tonight."
