Felton and Flint didn''t dare linger for another second. They scrambled away as fast as they could.

    Shanley and Juniper stood facing each other, locked in a staring contest.


    "What brings you here?"


    After a moment, Shanley stepped forward, trying to take her hand.


    "Don''t."


    Juniper took two steps back, dodging his grasp. She kept her arms crossed, looking at him with a teasing smirk. "You haven''t exined yet. Which woman did you think was in your bed?"


    "No one."


    Shanley frowned deeply, his voice turning raspy. "No woman is ever allowed on the top floor. When I pushed the door open, saw the room had been touched, and noticed long hair on the pillow..."


    "I figured some woman with a death wish had sneaked in, so I told Felton and Flint to handle it."


    "If you don''t believe me, ask them."


    "Really?"


    Juniper raised an eyebrow, a careless smile on her face. "Felton and Flint are your men, of course they listen to you. They might even be helping you hide someone."


    "I ampletely innocent."


    Shanley took a step closer, grasping her hand. He looked down at her face, his expression incredibly serious. "Do you want to check the security footage? Everything is backed up."


    "I don''t have the energy for that."


    Juniper hadn''t actually doubted him to begin with; she was just toozy to waste time on it.


    She had a sharp sense of smell, and if there had been another unfamiliar scent in the room, she would have noticed immediately.

    "You''re just messing with me, aren''t you?" Seeing the mischievous smile ying on the girl''s lips, Shanley finally caught on.


    "It''s alright."


    Juniper red at him, though what she meant as a re only looked like an adorable pout to him.


    "Want to mess with me a little more?"


    Shanley chuckled softly, leaning down to kiss the tip of her nose, his voice utterly captivating.


    "Tch."


    Juniper pushed him away, walking back into the room and plopping down on the sofa.


    She casually crossed her legs, looking around.


    She had the munchies.


    She wanted snacks.


    "Go buy some snacks."


    Catching onto her craving, Shanley immediately dialed Felton.


    Ten minutester.


    Felton appeared at the suite''s door, panting heavily, holding bags of snacks.


    He opened them up.


    Revealing all of Juniper''s favorite vors.


    "Good job Shanley raised an eyebrow, his voice smooth. "Thepany isn''t too busy for the nex two days. Take some time off and go on a vacation. Expense it to the finance department."


    "Huh?"


    The sudden surprise left Felton feeling dizzy.


    "You don''t want to go?"


    "Thank you, Boss!" Felton bowed deeply and then wisely made himself scarce.


    Back in the room.


    Shanley sat beside Juniper, carefully opening a cake box.


    He picked up a small spoon and fed her a bite himself.
