The party ended, and Juniper received a message from Shanley: "Outside."


    The group walked out of the private room. “Juniper, your birthday is next Wednesday, right?" Qadir asked.


    "Hmm?" Juniper paused for a second before answering slowly, "I guess so." Because she had no family, she never knew her real birthday. Later, her grandfather had designated the day he adopted her as her birthday. He remembered it every year. But this year... there would be no little old man to bring her a cake and sing ''Happy Birthday.''


    “I''m not nning on celebrating,” Juniper said, shaking her head, her expression darkening. “Qadir, you take Queenie and Dolce. J, you''re with me."


    "Okay." The others didn''t dare to argue or mention it again.


    Outside, a ck sports car was parked under arge tree. A man in a long trench coat stood beside it, his posture tall and his aura noble. “Hi, Mr. Schwartz," J greeted him as he opened the car door for them.


    “Hi,” Shanley replied, his lips curving into a smile, his tone much gentler. "Mrs. Payne is still recovering. I''ll have Felton send over some nutritional supplementster."


    "Thank you," J said politely.


    They had to film the show the next day. After dropping J home, Shanley drove Juniper to the filming location. "I''m done with my work at thepany. How about I stay with you?" Shanley suddenly took her hand, his voice a soft murmur. “Last time I saw you, you had dark circles under your eyes. Not sleeping well is bad for you."


    "Stay with me?" Juniper looked at him seriously, hesitating. "There will be a lot of people. Aren''t you afraid of being discovered?"


    "Don''t worry, I won''t wander around," Shanley said, stroking her head, his voice a low, coaxing rumble. "I''ll just wait in the room and be your obedient, pampered husband, here to keep the bed warm."

    strangeing from him. “Fine." Juniper didn''t refuse. After all, her insomnia was a real pain, and she desperately needed her human sleeping pill.


    And so, two figures moved furtively


    through the bustling film set. Juniper pulled Shanley along, carefully making her way to the break mom. "Keep your head down," She hissed shooting him a dark Took as he walked with his head held high like the young master he was. "Don''t get photographed."


    "Hmph." Shanley wasn''t happy. The smile on his face stiffened. So what if he was photographed? Was he someone to be ashamed of? Or was it that she didn''t want anyone to know he was her boyfriend Shanley pressed his lips together and said nothing, sulking in silence.


    When they finally made it back to the break room, before Juniper could even speak, Shanley suddenly let go of her hand and sat down on the sofa. He shrugged off his jacket, crossed his legs, folded his arms across his chest, and stared out the window without a word.


    "What''s wrong with you?" Juniper nced at him, rubbing her brow in confusion.


    "Can''t you tell?” Shanley turned his head, his gazending on her face. He enunciated each word clearly. "I. Am. Angry."


    “Huh?” Juniper poured a ss of water, drank half of it, then walked over to Shanley and offered him the rest. "Who are you angry at?"


    Shanley almostughed in exasperation. He''d nearly forgotten that this girl had a sky-high IQ but the emotional intelligence of a rock.


    "Who do you think?" Shanley pulled her into his arms, settling her firmly on hisp. He drank the rest of the water from her ss, suppressing his anger. “Ms. Payne, is your boyfriend that embarrassing to be seen with?”
