    "Back to Australis?" Juniper asked, her eyes narrowing curiously. "That''s fine. I haven''t met your wife yet. You should bring her back for a visit.” She had heard her voice on the phone once; she sounded like a very gentle woman.


    His wife? The title made Harold''s heart ache, and his smile turned weary. "Soon, she won''t be."


    “?” Juniper stared at him, confused. "Why?" she asked instinctively.


    "You''re too young to understand these things," Harold sighed, his voice gentle. "Go on, head inside."


    Juniper watched him, aplicated feeling stirring within her. Was he the one asking for a divorce, or was his wife leaving him? But judging by his dejected look, he was probably the one being dumped. Oh well. She decided not to pour salt on his wound. Taking her bag, she slung it over her shoulder, stuffed her hands in her pockets, and strode coolly toward the campus.


    At that moment, under arge tree not far away, Ynda was hiding in her car, eagerly watching the scene unfold. My, my. Juniper was quite something, wasn''t she? Juggling three men at once. The first was a broke nobody. The second, from the back, looked tall and handsome, and his clothes were designer, so he was probably wealthy.     After ss, Juniper was invited by Qadir to a gathering at a bar, along with Queenie, Dolce, and J Wilcox. "Everything''s on me tonight!" Qadirannounced, holding up a bottle with a huge grin. Don''t be shy, everyone. Eat and drink as much as you want."


    "What''s the special asion?" Juniper askedzily, cracking open a carton of milk and sinking into the sofantlis grip was so wide his face was practically folding in on itself. "Did the price of pigs go up at your family''s farm again?"


    “Juniper, what are you talking about?" Qadir''s cheeks flushed as he nced at Queenie beside him. “Let her tell them," he mumbled awkwardly.


    "???" Everyone''s eyes immediately shifted to Queenie.


    "I..." She looked down, her face bright red, stammering and unable to get the words out.


    "I''ll say it." Qadir couldn''t wait any longer and stood up. “Queenie and I are dating!”


    "What?" Dolce and J eximed in unison. "You two! You''ve been dating right under our noses!"
