    "Ms. Payne will be on camera in thirty seconds,” the assistant said, shaking off her thoughts and throwing herself back into her work.


    Meanwhile, on the set, Jimmie finished greeting the guests he knew and slowly made his way to thest few people.


    "Hello, Jimmie." He stopped in front of Yates and extended his right hand. With a slight bow, he looked like an ethereal, well-mannered gentleman,pletely captivating.


    "It''s an honor, Jimmie. I''m Yates." Yates quickly sped Jimmie''s hand with both of his, his smile wide with irrepressible excitement. "I''m a huge fan of your films. I hope I''ll have the privilege of working with you one day."


    "Of course," Jimmie said before withdrawing his hand. As he turned to the girl beside Yates, his gaze turned dark and intense.


    “Hello, Jimmie.” The words were t, devoid of any emotion, and a cool breeze seemed to sweep through the hall, dropping the temperature by several degrees.


    "???" The other guests looked over curiously. Jimmie''s tone was so cold, a stark contrast to the polite warmth he''d shown just moments ago.


    Ynda stood frozen, the color draining from her face as she swayed on her feet. Jimmie... How could the surprise guest be Jimmie? If that was the case, then the sister apanying him had to be... Juniper?


    “Hello,” Jimmie said again, noticing Ynda''s pale face and flustered state.


    "H-Hello, Jimmie." Ynda looked up, and the sight of the cameras brought her back to her senses. Forcing herself to remain calm, she said, “I''m Ynda.” Jimmie didn''t say much more, just gave a curt nod and walked toward his seat.


    As he walked away, Ynda let out a breath she didn''t realize she''d been holding. After all the miserye Juniper had endured at the Sherwin family''s hands, she had probably fold Jimmie all sorts of horrible things about them now that her real family had found her.


    But then again, so what? This was a live show. Would Jimmie really dare to give her the cold shoulder in front of the whole country? If he did, she''d leak stories to the press, using him of bullying a neer, of she was going down, shed make sure Jimmie and Juniper wouldn''t have it easy either.


    "Jimmie, is the person joining you another celebrity, or..." Ken asked warmly. The two had met several times and their personalities clici cked, making them good friends in the industry with a solid private O rtionship.


    "My little sister." Jimmie sat down, his legs slightly parted, radiating an air of refined elegance. A faint smile graced his lips as he mentioned his sister.


    Just as he finished speaking, the floor director''s voice announced, “And now, let''s wee Jimmie''s sister."


    At the announcement, Ynda''s head whipped around faster than anyone else''s, her hands clenching into fists at her sides. The other guests also turned to the entrance.


    As for Jimmie''s sister, they had seen photos of her online, and while they weren''t crystal clear, her silhouette suggested she was a beautiful girl. Seeing her in person might be even more stunning.


    As the director''s voice faded, a dark figure slowly approached the hall. A few secondster, a tall, slender girl appeared before them.


    Everyone was stunned. They had assumed that for his sister''s first television


    appearance, Jimmie would have gone all out to style her. Haute couture, jewelry... something to make her outshine everyone else.
