Chapter 871

At that moment, in front of the camera, Miranda sat beaming at the monitor.

"She''s so thin but has quite an appetite," the assistant directormented instinctively. In all his years of producing shows, he had never seen a celebrity eat so freely in public.

"She''s young, still a growing girl," Miranda said, her eyes crinkling with a smile, the fondness in them impossible to hide. So genuine. She absolutely loved it.

"Notify the guests to get ready for the next segment." Miranda cut to a different camera angle, her expression instantly turning stern again. The next part was the guest meet-and-greet, followed by a "heart-to-heart talk" where they would share their feelings.

Upon hearing the announcement, Ynda immediately put down the bread she had only taken two bites of. She clutched her stomach, feigning being full. “Let''s go, Yates," she said, standing up and heading for the door. An A-lister like this was bound to have connections, and if possible, she wanted to try and get closer. She wouldn''t let any opportunity slip by.

"Alright." Yates forced a smile, setting down his coffee and getting up to follow her. He knew exactly what was on Ynda''s mind. Two episodes in, and she''d been pulling all sorts of stunts-hogging the spotlight, sucking up-all in a desperate bid for fame. But if Ynda got more screen time and buzz, his own poprity would rise with it. It was a mutually beneficial arrangement, so he couldn''t be bothered to call her out.

Ynda and Yates were the first to arrive, followed by Ken and Willow.

"Good morning, Ken!" Ynda greeted him with effusive warmth before turning to Willow. "Willow, your skin is amazing." Her tone was noticeably less enthusiastic. “Not like me. I have such bad insomnia, my skin is always a wreck.”

Willow shot her azy nce. The woman''s face was so caked in makeup it looked like she''d stered it on, creating a wless, porcin plexion." If the cameras weren''t rolling, Willow would have rolled her eyes so hard they''d get stuck.

"Really?" Knowing Ynda was just ying games, Willow gave a cold smirk and said deliberately, "If your skin is that bad, you really shouldn''t be wearing such heavy makeup. It''s not good for it."

Ynda''s smile froze on her face.

Just as the awkwardness peaked, Jasper and Jiana arrived.

"Jiana, good morning!" Ynda immediately scurried over to her.

Jiana yawned, looking wearily at Ynda and forcing a smile. "Morning, Ynda."

"Yeah!" Since Willow clearly disliked her and Sabine wasn''t around, Ynda was relieved that at least Jiana would smile at her so she promptly sat down next to her.

The moment Ynda moved away, Jiana''s smile vanished. Good morning? Who could possibly be having a good morning after waking up so early for this darned show? Oh, right. Ynda. That girl was genuinely happy to be here.

[“Hahaha, Jiana''s expression changed so fast!"]

[“Ynda is so annoying. Can''t she see Jiana doesn''t want to talk to her?"]

["We need Willow to handle her. Shut her down in one sentence."]

["I can''t wait to see the Best Actor''s sister. I want to see Ynda''s reaction when she shows up."]

    ...

After the pleasantries, everyone took their seats.

"So who is the surprise guest today?" Ynda asked, propping her chin on her hand

and batting her wide, innocent eyes. "Ken, do you know?"

Ken shrugged, a yful smile on his lips. "The rumor is it''s Jimmie, haha."

Jasper added, "That sounds a bit far-fetched."

"Exactly," Ynda chimed in, her voice surprisingly loud. "Why would Jimmiee on a show like this?

at''s absurd!" Jimmie was famous for never participating in reality TV.

As they were discussing it, the director''s voice boomed through the studio: "And

now, please wee our surprise guest!"

All heads snapped toward the entrance. In that moment-
