Chapter 779

The other two brothers exchanged a look, and in the end, they couldn''t bring themselves to scold her further. "Fine."

"Okay." With the matter settled, Juniper didn''t cause any more trouble and happily slid into the car.

Shanley tried to follow, but Jimmie blocked his path with a stern expression. “Hold on."

"You know what Juniper''s like..." Shanley exined helplessly. "I had to follow her in secret. She''s still mad at me."

"Just keep spoiling her," Jimmie grumbled. He felt a deep, profound sense of helplessness.

Ultimately, Juniper brought Ebony Fox back to the Cloudscape Community. Given her fragile condition, she needed to be monitored at all times.

"You''ll drink a cup of this herbal tonic every day from now on," Juniper said, cing a steaming mug in front of Ebony Fox, her tone serious. "It''s to boost your immune system."

At the very least, it would keep the pain at bay until they found the antidote.

"Alright." Ebony Fox dutifully drank it all, then let Juniper supervise her as shey down to rest.

    "Juniper, about the antidote..."

“Shh,” Juniper cut her off, her tone asmanding as a general''s. "You don''t need to worry about that. Just focus on getting better. Close your eyes."

Ebony Fox wanted to talk more, but her sister was being so domineering that she had no choice but to obey.

Only after the door clicked shut did Ebony Fox slowly open her eyes. She stared at the in white ceiling, her heart filled with a bleak darkness.

An antidote? Where would they ever find an antidote? If she had the choice, she would rather spend the time she had left with her brothers and sister. It was just a shame, she would never get to see her other sisters, or her parents.

In the bedroom, Shanley was on the balcony, on the phone, instructing his people at

Sigma Network to find any trace of A-NO.

"If necessary, cooperate with Subterra Vanguard''s Binary Oracle."

"Binary Oracle his subordinate''s voice jumped an octave. Realizing his impudence, he quickly backed down. "Boss, the people at Binary Oracle are... difficult. Life for us at Cybeic Shadows isn''t going to be easy."

The rumor was that Subterra Vanguard''s Specter had "seduced" their leader, and now the two major powers were about to merge. Binary Oracle''s members were already arrogant, constantly belittling sigma Network. Now that their sworn enemies were bing inws, they would be even more insufferable, lording it over them.

“It doesn''t matter,” Shanley said, his grip tightening on his phone as a faint smile

touched his lips. "My life here with Specter isn''t so easy either."

His subordinate was speechless. After a long pause, he managed to choke out an "Understood" and quietly hung up.

If the boss himself was being pushed around by Specter, who were they toin?

"Your life isn''t easy?" Juniper was standing at the door, a faint, knowing smile on her face.

Shanley turned around. “If I didn''t say that,” he replied with a wry smile, "would those guys at Cybeic Shadows ever let Binary Oracle boss them around?"

"Is that so?" Juniper wasn''t interested in his sweet talk. She walked up to him, her fingers tracing the buttons on his shirt. "In that case, maybe I should give you a reward?"

One by one, she undid the buttons until his shirt waspletely open.

“Hmm?” Shanley''s tall frame went rigid, his throat tightening as he looked down at his exposed chest.

Wasn''t this reward a little too generous?
