In the next second, all eyes swiveled from Juniper to the projector screen.
Juniper logged into her email and scrolled through her inbox, finally stopping at a date from three years ago.
"This is the source data for my programming project from three years ago." Leaning against the lectern, Juniper drummed her fingers on the surface, her voice crisp and clear. "You''re all experts inputer science, so it should be easy for you to verify its authenticity."
As expected, the judges immediately sent a technician to inspect the data. After a few moments of work, the technician turned back to the judges with a grim expression and nodded. It was true. The data was original, containing not just the final project but also various developmental stages. This was the kind of raw work that no one but Miss Null herself could produce.
The judges'' faces grew even darker upon receiving the confirmation.
"And onest thing," Juniper said, not yet ready to let them off the hook as she continued to tear down their usations. "Your core argument was that Professor Tucker giarized my work? He wasn''t lying; I did give him a physical copy of my research."
Juniper continued, “I''ve already published that material online for everyone to see. As for the core of Tucker''s program, it is indeed in the same category as mine, but the central algorithm is vastly different. In fact, Tucker''s work is moreplete than mine. The core he developed improves upon it, addressing shorings I hadn''t considered. Would you call building a more advanced airne or a better cannon giarism?"
The entire hall fell silent, listening to Juniper''s rebuke.
“Also...” Juniper paused for a breath before adding, "I''ve made the core data public. If anyone can surpass Tucker''s research achievements within the next three years I''ll personally bring this trophy back and return it to the World
им
Programming Alliance."
By now, most of the people in the audience, along with the judges on stage, had
already pulled up Juniper''s core data on their devices.
The judges, with their extensive
experience, could understand it. The audience, however, was struggling It was tooplex. Just studying the code would take a significant amount of time, let alone mastering The fact that Tucker had managed to learn it and elevate it within three years was truly
impressive.
"The news of my death was false," Juniper said with a faint smile. "Is my proof sufficient?"
Her gaze swept across the judges, a cold smile ying on her lips. "I won''t waste any more of your time. The award ceremony can now continue."
With all the evidenceid out before them, the judges were speechless. They had
no choice but to begrudgingly announce, "The winner of this year''s World Programming Competition is Tucker, from Orient Country''s Era University, for his work, ''Glimmer''."
Juniper was the first to apud, and the audience slowly followed her lead. A stubborn stereotype had
been ingrained in these young minds that Orient Country was backward, especially inputer science. But deep down they couldn''t help but admire strength. The apuse grew, filling the hall.
"What are you doing just standing there?" Juniper walked over to Tucker, who lookedpletely dazed, and raised an eyebrow. "Go ept your award."
Tucker stared cautiously at the girl before him, feeling like he was in a dream. Fifteen minutes ago, she was just Juniper... and now, she was his resurrected Master?
