Chapter 802

    ?Chapter 802:

Sylvia had stirred up a full-blown scandal.

Just by dragging Elena’s name through the mud, Sylvia’s stream hit 3 million views—and she made a million bucks that same night.

Sylvia never expected things to blow up this big. That useless nobody Elena actually ended up making her rich.

Sylvia grabbed the money while she could—and figured as long as she kept mming Elena online, the cash would keeping in.

Right after the livestream ended, Sylvia started blowing through the money like there was no tomorrow. After all, she could easily earn another million—or more—in tomorrow’s stream!

Once Sylvia’s stream ended, the recording started spreading everywhere online.

Even Javier came across the video. There were too many copies. No way to wipe them all out.

Pissed off, Javier spent the whole night arguing with strangers on the inte.

Worried Elena would see it and get hurt, Javier sent the video to Jeffry. “Jeffry, those Reed family bastards are at it again. They’re talking shit about Elena in a livestream. Get that ount shut down—now!”

Jeffry read the message, his eyes narrowing. Without hesitation, he told his assistant, Elvin, to call Malcolm right away and shut Sylvia’s streaming ount down.

CatLive—the streaming site Sylvia used—was Malcolm’s territory. Disabling an ount was child’s y for Malcolm. One call, and it was done.

Malcolm hit Sylvia with a 48-hour suspension, citing the reason as “spreading false information.”

Elsewhere, Sylvia didn’t waste a second. As soon as she got her cash, she dashed to the mall like it was a mission. Ever since the Reed family went broke, she had been stuck in faded dresses and shoes two seasons out of style. Two designer outfits and a fancy handbag wiped her ount clean.

She was glowing. For the first time after her family’s downfall, she felt like a rich girl again. She was totally clueless about the ount ban. She had no idea she was locked out of streaming the next day. She was already nning tomorrow’s stream—another round of gossip about Elena—and dreaming of more shopping.

    Your storytelling destination is gα?ησν????s

But when she got home and logged into her ount, it hit her like a blow. The screen didn’t lie.

“What the hell?” Sylvia yelled, eyes wide. “Suspended for forty-eight hours? Why am I not allowed to stream?”

Cecily came running, rmed. “Sylvia? What happened? Why are you screaming?”

Sylvia kept logging out and logging back in, hoping the system would suddenly fix itself. She was panicking. “I’m banned!” she shouted, finally epting the p of reality. Someone out there was jealous and had ratted her out. And it pissed her off to no end.

“Whoever snitched on me—I swear—they’re gonna regret it,” Sylvia muttered, her jaw clenched tight.

Cecily’s eyesnded on the designer bags tossed on the bed. Back in the day, she used to frequent that shop too—before everything fell apart.
