?Chapter 1136:
I shot up from my throne, enraged.
That damned Antoni! How dare he show his face here?
“Let him in!”
The door opened, and Antoni walked in.
He met my gaze, his face a mask of defiance.
“Antoni Harrison!” I roared. “How dare you show your face to me again? Where the hell have you been?”
Antoni offered me no immediate response. Instead, he strolled forward at a leisurely pace, only stopping when he was before me to offer a perfunctory bow.
“It’s been a while, Your Majesty. It seems your temper remains ever the same,” he finally said, a smirk on his face. “As for my whereabouts, I’ve simply gone where I needed to be.”
His nonchnce infuriated me even more.
“How dare you speak to me like this! Guards, seize him!” I ordered. My guards rushed forward, weapons drawn.
Antoni, however, remained unaffected by this. “I’ll suggest you calm down, Your Majesty,” he said indifferently. “I am now a member of the Wizard n. You harming me will only make it harder to capture Makenna.”
I raised my hand to halt my guards, curious as to what he meant. ring at him, I asked, “What do you mean? Are you admitting to betraying me?”
Antoni sighed, then exined, “Surely, Your Majesty, you see how dangerous the werewolf territory has be for me. The oldest prince of the Wizard n promised me lifelong safety and wealth. I had to choose the side that benefited me the most.”
The indifference with which Antoni narrated this to me caused my blood to boil. “When exactly did you disappear?” I asked, jabbing a finger toward his face.

Antoni appeared unfazed by my anger. He casually adjusted his sleeve and said, “Why are you getting so worked up? The Harrison family has been working secretly with the Wizard n for a long time. It’s just that we’ve kept that secret well hidden until now.”
I stood there, frozen by the implication of Antoni’s words.
So the Harrison family’s betrayal began long ago.
Antoni continued, his tone light, “It’s unfortunate that the three princes showing up in Marehelm disrupted our ns. They uncovered the connection between the Harrison family and the Wizard n and sought to target my father. When I realized what was going on, I ran away from the werewolf territory with the help of the Wizard n and pledged my loyalty to them.”
Blinded by rage now, I bellowed, “Guards, take this traitor to the dungeon. I’ll kill him myself.”
My guards began to move toward Antoni again.
Antoni, however, still remained unbothered. He stared at me, his gaze prating. “Are you sure you don’t want to capture Makenna? I happen to know how that can be done.”
I signaled for my guards to stand down again. “What do you know?” I asked.
Antoni smirked, then made a gesture with his hand. Momentster, two figures were dragged in and thrown to the floor.
