?Chapter 1078:
Anxiety gnawed at me as fear clouded my thoughts.
Breaking the tense silence, yton, unable to contain his curiosity, asked in a calm voice, “Who exactly is this person you want us to track down?”
Alex surveyed each of us deliberately before responding with unnerving calm, “From what I’ve gathered, a magic potion has surfaced in Marehelm. This potion prevents those who consume it from betraying the one who administers it, correct?”
Bryan’s existing disdain for Alex visibly intensified at these words.
That revtion sent a wave of unease washing over me.
Bryan fixed Alex with a piercing re and demanded, “How did youe by this information?”
A slight smile yed across Alex’s lips as he replied evenly, “Cody is dead. Surely you’re aware that he betrayed you and sided with the Wizard n, so my knowledge shouldn’te as a surprise.”
So, Cody leaked the news and told them.
My chest constricted anxiously at the realization.
That magic potion had undoubtedly been Jett’s creation. The stark realization hit me—the Wizard n was hunting for him!
But what made Jett so valuable to them?
He appeared to be nothing more than a half-wizard, half-werewolf. What secret could he possibly harbor that would drive the Wizard n to pursue him with such determination?
The three princes seemed led to grasp this connection as well.
Though they all knew Jett was behind the potion’s creation, their expressions remained carefully neutral, betraying nothing.
Bryan maintained hisposure as he regarded Alex steadily, asking with practiced indifference, “What interest do you have in finding this individual?”

A soft chuckle escaped Alex’s lips, his eyes gleaming with mockery as he addressed Bryan with calcted nonchnce. “I suspect you remain unaware of this person’s true identity, correct? This person could very well be our Wizard n’s second prince, who vanished years ago. Even if not the prince himself, he certainly shares some connection to the second prince.”
What? The Wizard n’s second prince!
Alex’s revtion echoed through my mind like thunder, leaving me stunned in its wake.
My thoughts scattered like leaves in a storm, rendering me speechless with disbelief.
How could Jett possibly be the long-lost second prince of the Wizard n?
The notion defied all logic and reason!
Throughout our acquaintance, I had known him only as a wizard of mixed heritage…
I discreetly looked sideways, desperate to disprove this wild im, my eyes seeking Jett’s face.
To my astonishment, I met his gaze—aplex maelstrom of emotions swirled in those familiar eyes: fear, anxiety, and something else I couldn’t quite define.
Could Alex’s words hold truth?
