Chapter 1070:


    At my approach, she snapped upright, her voice edged with urgency.


    “If you hadn’t cured my wounds, those guards would’ve had me.”


    I stepped closer, resting a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “You were phenomenal. Your diversion was the key to my sess in snatching those keys. Now, let’s go free thest of the white wolves.”


    Makenna’s POV:


    Pa and I quietly slipped past the patrolling soldiers and reached the cages where the captured white wolves were held.


    I hurriedly pulled out the keys and unlocked the iron door to the cage area.


    The captured white wolves heard the rattling of the key in the lock and raised their listless eyes to see who it was.


    They all looked surprised to see Pa.


    A frail white wolf dragged himself closer to us and asked, “Why are you here, Pa, and who is the girl beside you?”


    Pa signaled them to be quiet, then whispered, “Be quiet. I’ll exin everything once we’re safely outside and away from the guards.”


    She gave me a meaningful look, to which I responded with a nod.


    We then quickly went around and opened all the cages to let out more white wolves.


    After that was done, we guided the weakened white wolf n members through the path we had taken, careful to make no noise so as to avoid being found by the guards.


    It all went smoothly until we were almost at the exit. Suddenly, guards took up positions in the passage in front of us.


    “The white wolves are getting away! Stop them!” they yelled as they blocked our path.


    g???????ν??????.?????? – ?????????? ???????? ????


    “They found us!” Pa whispered, her voiceced with fear.


    Gritting my teeth in determination, I said, “We have no other choice but to fight our way through.”


    Although weakened by their captivity, the white wolf n members behind me grew bolder as their eyes lit up with determination. They were ready to fight their way through.


    Just as we were about to engage the guards inbat, a loud crash came from the roof of the prison.


    Dust and debris poured down toward us as though the whole roof wanted toe down.


    “What’s happening? What’s going on?” one of the guards asked fearfully.


    Boom!


    The roof suddenly caved in, and three figures jumped from the hole in the roof andnded in front of us.


    I looked closely, and what I saw caused my heart to leap with joy.


    It was Bryan, Dominic, and yton.


    It seemed they had escaped Carl’s attack and made it here.


    They exuded a powerful aura that seemed to scare the guards, making them take steps backward.
