Chapter 1034

    ?Chapter 1034:

Initially, I had thought that because of Jett, my rtionship with the three princes woulde to an end. However, their words now proved otherwise. I hadn’t expected them to make such choices.

I fought back the tears that threatened to fall and said, “No matter what happens in the future, the three of you will always be the most important people in my life.”

    Makenna’s POV:

Bryan’s expression softened as he stepped forward, his hand tenderly ruffling my hair.

“Alright, let’s discuss these matterster,” he said, affection warming his voice. “Cody is dead, and our priority now is to handle the aftermath.”

A slight nod came from Dominic, concern still clouding his eyes as he earnestly agreed, “Dayton and the others should be waiting for us at the Pierce family estate. Since Jett is recovering well, let’s make our way there.”

Anxiety gnawed at me as I bit my lip and furrowed my brow, my thoughts still circling around Jett’s well-being.

Perceptive as always, yton seemed to read my mind, his hand rising to gently pinch my cheek. “Don’t worry,” he reassured with a warm smile. “I’ll have someone look after Jett. He won’te to any harm.”

Relief washed over me at yton’s words, finally allowing me to follow them back to the Pierce family estate with an unburdened heart.

Chaos greeted us upon our arrival at Dayton’s office building. The moment we stepped inside, we discovered Dayton and his team frantically managing the disorder Cody had left in his wake.

Scattered files covered every surface while subordinates rushed urgently through the corridors.

Tension visibly melted from Dayton’s features when he spotted us entering. He quickly approached, his eyes filled with concern as he asked, “How’s Jett doing?”

    g???????ν??????.??0??, ?????????? ?????????? ????

Exhaling softly with relief, I offered him a reassuring smile. “Jett has fully recovered.”

Visible relief transformed Dayton’s expression, admiration illuminating his face. “Miss Dunn, you truly are the descendant of the Saint, managing to bring the dying back to life.”

Heat rose to my cheeks at his praise, prompting me to lower my head and redirect the conversation. “Let’s not dwell on that. We should focus on our current predicament.”

Worry lines etched themselves across Dayton’s face as anxiety reimed his expression. “With Cody gone, his officials and soldiers have spiraledpletely out of control. Marehelm has descended into chaos,” he said, vigorously rubbing his temples.

” Cody’s influence runs deep in Marehelm. Eradicating it quickly seems nearly impossible.”

Solemn and attentive, Bryan listened carefully before offering a slight, decisive nod. “There’s no need for excessive concern. I’ll dispatch assistance to you immediately.”

Gratitude illuminated Dayton’s eyes instantly, and he hurriedly stepped forward, speaking to Bryan with renewed excitement. “Thank you so much. With your help, there’s hope for this situation!”

Standing quietly to the side, my mind suddenly shed back to Cody’s eerie smile and his cryptic words before he died. A wave of unease washed over me, causing my brow to furrow involuntarily.

Could Cody really have epted his fate so easily? Might he have had some backup ns in ce?
