Chapter 1006

    ?Chapter 1006:

His skilled fingers teased my sensitive flesh through the thin fabric of my underwear, asionally dancing across my swollenbia. Warmth flooded between my thighs, dampening his exploring fingers.

    “Oh… Alden… don’t…”

As the words escaped my lips, Alden released my breast only to im my parted mouth, silencing my protests with a passionate kiss.

    “Mm… ah…”

Soft, breathless moans escaped through my nose, unable to find release through my captured lips. Alden hungrily imed every drop of my saliva, his right hand expertly caressing the sensitive curves of my chest while his left hand parted my most intimate folds, fingers sliding with deliberate patience into my weing depths.

I melted under Alden’s skilled touch, my resistance crumbling as I copsed against his strong frame, surrendering inch by inch to his passionate assault.

“Makenna, I love you… I want you… I can’t hold back anymore…” Alden’s husky whisper brushed against my ear, sending shivers cascading down my spine.

As his words registered, I felt something firm and insistent press against my trembling thigh, seeking entrance to my most private sanctuary…

What could that be? I knew all too well.

Realization struck like lightning. My eyes widened in shock, and my mind suddenly cleared as I pushed Alden away with all my might.

Our previous encounter had been a mistake, merely the effect of the drug clouding my judgment. Now, with rity restored, how could I possibly repeat such an error?

    “No, no… this can’t happen…”

Frantically, I pulled on my clothes, avoiding Alden’s burning gaze as I stumbled away…

    Makenna’s POV:

By the time I left the prison, it was deep into the night.

The streety deserted, without even a whisper of wind. It was disturbingly quiet. As I made my way to the Pierce estate, a sense of unease began to grow within me. Usually, evente at night, there’d be a few people walking or guards patrolling the area, but tonight it waspletely empty, and the silence felt unsettling.

I frowned and quickened my pace. However, the closer I got to the Pierce estate, the heavier the air seemed, as if it wereden with tension. Suddenly, a soft whistling sound reached my ears, ing straight for me.

My heart tightened, and I instinctively leapt aside, narrowly avoiding a lethal strike.

An arrow brushed past my arm, ripping my sleeve and leaving a minor scratch.

My eyes widened, and my heart pounded wildly. This arrow had been aimed at me. Had I not moved swiftly, I might not have survived.

I quickly turned around to see several figures cloaked in ck emerging from the shadows. They wore dark capes that obscured their faces, leaving only their chilling eyes visible. They held their bows at the ready, and their eyes were fixed on me.

“Who are you? Why are you trying to kill me?” I managed to ask, my voice shaking despite my efforts to remain calm.

The leader of the group stepped forward. His voice sounded cold and deep. “You will learn who we are if youe with us. It would be wise not to resist.”
