?Chapter 881:
“Makenna… I want you. Forget about the princes,” he groaned into my ear.
A wave of desire surged through me. His voice carried an unmistakably erotic tone.
Then Jett forcefully pushed himself inside me. The sound of his movements soon filled the room. He raised his head and kissed me passionately.
“Go easy on me…” I pleaded as his thrusts intensified.
Jett slowed down. He seemed to pay attention to myfort as his rhythm shifted from shallow to deep.
I could feel his warm length moving within me, making my body grow wetter with each movement.
Every thrust reached deep inside me. I could see desire in his eyes like a storm. It was frightening yet strangely exciting. Slowly, the pressure built up within me, and soon it felt as though I was on the edge of pleasure.
Involuntarily, my legs tightened around Jett.
“Makenna, I’m sorry, but I think I’ve fallen in love with you…” Jett whispered in my ear.
Although his voice sounded distant, I still heard every word. Reason and desire shed within me.
Not long after, I surrendered to the wave of passion and let it consume me.
Dominic’s POV:
Once that woman left, my appetite vanished.
It was peculiar, really. She was an unremarkable woman by most standards, yet something about her unsettled me in a way I couldn’t quite exin.
I idly pushed my food around on my te, my mind fixated on her image rather than the meal before me.
Setting my fork aside, I finally turned to Maia. “Mrs. Pierce, who were that man and woman just now?”
?????????? ?????????????? ??????????: ?????????ν?????????????
Maia blinked in mild surprise, as though she hadn’t expected me to ask. She mulled it over briefly before responding, “Prince Dominic, Edward and Ailyn arrived in Marehelm a few days ago, iming they could cure my husband’s illness. So, I had them brought into the mansion.”
“Oh?” My curiosity deepened, and I pressed her further. “Did you have anyone look into their backgrounds?”
Maia hesitated, her expression betraying her unease. “To be honest, Edward’s medical skills are nothing short of extraordinary. Under his care, my husband’s condition has improved significantly. I didn’t want to risk offending them, so…”
I understood her hesitation and nodded, my expression thoughtful. “Your caution is understandable, Mrs. Pierce. However, given that they areplete outsiders, a bit of prudence wouldn’t hurt.”
Maia caught my meaning but still looked conflicted. After a pause, she exhaled softly and relented. “Alright, Your Highness. I’ll have someone look into them.”
Just then, Maia’s brother, Alden, asked with curiosity dancing in his eyes, “Prince Dominic, why the sudden interest in them? Don’t tell me you’ve taken a liking to Ailyn?”
I arched a brow, a yful smirk curling at my lips. “And what if I have?”
Alden’s eyes widened in disbelief. “But Ailyn is already married!”
I chuckled, casting Alden a fleeting, indifferent nce before losing interest in the conversation entirely.
After finishing our meal, the three of us bid Maia farewell.
As we stepped outside the mansion, yton strode beside me, his brow furrowed in confusion. “Why insist on having Maia investigate Ailyn and Edward?”
