?Chapter 1025:
“No,” Kaiden shook his head. “I’ll share once everything’s confirmed.” Ellie wasn’t particrly curious. “Okay then!”
Flossie took a special trip back to her hometown in Jairta.
A few dayster, she visited Moon Manor to see Ellie, specifically selecting a time when Kaiden was absent.
“This parenting book contains a fragrance that, with prolonged exposure, could lead to eye diseases. The amount in your book isn’t substantial, but with your pregnancy, hormonal changes might increase the risk of eye issues.”
That was why Kaiden and the other servants who had handled those books hadn’t experienced any eye issues.
Ellie let out a sigh of relief.
Luckily, it wasn’t a hereditary disease.
She and Carole were distant rtives, so it would’ve been troublesome if it was a hereditary disease!
“If an average person was exposed, could this scent lead to blindness?” Ellie inquired.
“Inrge amounts, yes, like prolonged exposure to strong fragrance.”
“Flossie, do you know where this scentes from?”
Flossie shook her head. “My grandmother identified it. It used to be found along the southwestern border but is now nearly extinct. Even my grandmother didn’t know the recipe.”
Ellie promptly called Harry to look into whether Carole had been exposed to any scents recently and who she had been around.
A servant brought Ellie’s nutritious soup to the greenhouse.
Flossie assisted in taking it and cooling it down for Ellie.
Just as she was about to pass it to Ellie, her fingers suddenly tightened. Ellie’s hand was already on the bowl but found that Flossie hadn’t released her grip.
“What’s the matter, Flossie?” Ellie asked, perplexed.

Flossie looked serious, leaned over the soup, and took a deep breath.
When she caught the familiar scent, her face revealed inner conflict.
“Flossie?”
Flossie let go of the bowl. “You… hold it steady.”
“I can manage on my own,” Ellie chuckled.
She was about to taste the soup when Flossie swiftly took it away.
“Don’t drink it! There’s medication in this soup!”
Ellie’s hand trembled. “Wh-What medication?”
Pausing for a moment, Flossie revealed, “KY.”
The medication was developed through the joint efforts of Ellie and Flossie, and due to its unique ingredients, it had a faint, distinct scent.
“Flossie, you don’t have a sample of KY with you…” Ellie’s face went pale. “This medication was originally mixed into the soup!”
Unable to see, Ellie retrieved her phone and handed it to Flossie. “Could you please help me call Mr. Singh?”
Axell Singh had purchased the patent for KY.
