    “Mrs. Thorpe, you’re four months pregnant,” she remarked.

    “How old is your sister’s baby?” Ellie asked. She had be more interested in other people’s children since she had be an expectant mother.


    “Two years old.”


    “Please bring a gift to your sister’s child when you return, Miss Hilton!” It was a polite gesture.


    rinda’s smile faltered briefly but quickly returned. “No, thanks. I haven’t seen my nephew recently.”


    Ellie, not reading too much into it, replied, “Okay.”


    rinda’s gaze shifted to the front, but she stared nkly. Her hands clenched on herp without her realizing it. She couldn’t see him because her nephew had passed away.


    The Bentley approached the manor gate, and they noticed several security guards gathered ahead. The driver slowed down and got a clearer view. “Sir, Carole is at the door.”


    Carole spotted rinda in the front seat, and her eyes filled with hatred. “Sir?” The driver waited for instructions.


    “Ignore her,” Kaiden responded coldly.


    Carole wasn’t allowed inside Moon Manor, so she had spent the night waiting outside. When she finally spotted Kaiden’s car, she was shocked to see rinda in the front seat.


    Angry, Carole approached the car. The driver saw her but elerated without hesitation. The car brushed past her body, knocking her to the ground. Her elbow scraped against the pavement, beginning to bleed and causing her to wince in pain.


    The security guards stared at her coldly and ordered, “Miss Lambert, please leave immediately!”

    Carole felt deeply humiliated.


    At the Thorpes’ house, Talon and his family had been on edge all morning. Earlier, when Erick had gone to the vi in the northern suburb to fetch rinda, he discovered that she wasn’t there. She had vanished!


    “I told you to pick her up yesterday, but you waited until this morning! Now she’s gone! Why didn’t you listen to me?” Talon fumed. He was so furious that he smacked the back of Erick’s head.


    “I didn’t think she’d disappear. Besides, I had a business dinnerst night!” Erick said, covering his head, feeling embarrassed and wronged.


    “A business dinner, huh? Then why did you end up sleeping with that young model? You’re useless!” Talon shouted.


    At that moment, Genesis entered with a stern expression. “Kaiden is back.”


    “That’s odd!” Talon frowned. He fumed even more upon hearing Kaiden’s name. Kaiden rarely came home, even when invited, but today he had returned of his own ord.


    Genesis added, “He has brought rinda with him.”


    “What? Really?!” Talon and Erick’s expressions shifted dramatically.


    “Mrs. Thorpe, I heard your family name was Lambert,” rinda mentioned on the way to the Thorpes’ house.
