Chapter 952

    ?Chapter 952:

“Then let me remind you: you’re the owner of today’s banquet venue, the investor in Flossie’sb, the owner of Rich Bar and the hotel above it. You own Dreamboat Ind. You’re not only Freddy’s muse but also his boss. The jewelry you wore in the Light fashion show is from your personal collection.”

“Well… You have a good memory.”

Kaiden kissed her on the lips and teased, “Darling, ttering me now won’t change the fact that you’ve kept those things from me.” Ellie felt he’did it all out, unsure what else to add.

“I really have no secrets left,” she said, turning away. “I’m off to sleep!”

Kaiden held her close from behind.

“Well then, Ellie, make sure you hide it well, in case I catch you lying again,” he warned.

Ellie was stunned into silence by this remark.

Truthfully, she had nothing hidden from him… right? Even if she did, maybe he wouldn’t find out!

Kaiden was ustomed to staying upte. As Ellie slept, he remained wide awake.

    Suddenly, his phone rang.

Kaiden quietly slipped out of bed and went to the balcony to take the call.

“Mr. Thorpe, I just received an email from someone who imed to be a bone marrow match for your mother,” Bruce’s voice was grave. “The strange thing is, she’s not Carole.”

Bruce’s email was essible for others to contact him, which meant this mysterious sender was able to reach him directly.

Kaiden frowned and wondered aloud, “Isn’t Carole the one whose bone marrow matches Brisa?”

“The mysterious sender wanted to talk to you on the phone. She didn’t mention anything else in the email,” Bruce replied. “Give me her number, and you verify who she is.”

Kaiden received the number and dialed it immediately, despite thete hour. Once the call connected, Kaiden spoke first, his tone cold. “You’re the bone marrow match?”

“Yes,” rinda affirmed. She paused to gather her thoughts and then said, “Mr. Thorpe, I’m rinda Hilton. Talon has me now.”

“The one who matches Brisa’s marrow is Carole,” Kaiden refuted, his gaze fixed on the dark, deste night.

“Carole used my data for the matching test. Even if the transnt happens, I’ll be the actual donor,” rinda continued. “Mr. Thorpe, Carole approached me, wanting to make a deal.”

To Kaiden, it didn’t matter who donated marrow to Brisa. Even if it was Carole, his feelings toward her wouldn’t change.

What mattered was the fact that Carole, Talon, and his family had plotted to deceive him.

“What is the reason you reached out to me?” Kaiden asked bluntly.

“I don’t want to be manipted,” rinda dered. “Mr. Thorpe, I can donate bone marrow, but I want my freedom.”

Kaiden scoffed but remained silent. The atmosphere grew heavy and oppressive.

Who would believe she had gone to such lengths to contact Kaiden just for freedom?

“I want to join GT Group. I have a master’s degree in finance. I aim to work in the investment and financing department,” rinda stated.
