?Chapter 887:
“I didn’t mean it! She started this!” Aphrodite refused to admit her mistake, afraid of Kaiden’s retaliation.
“Aphrodite, you always say the same words—that you didn’t mean to hurt others. When we were kids, you ruined my skates, causing me to slip on the ice. On that ind, your setup nearly killed me! Yet you still imed you didn’t mean it. Hurting me is one thing. But how dare you try to harm El and her unborn baby!”
“I didn’t mean it. I won’t say sorry!” Aphrodite insisted.
Baylee’s face darkened as she swiftly grabbed the stick Aphrodite had left on the floor with her free hand. Baylee struck Aphrodite on the back with the stick, causing her to scream loudly.
Aphrodite cried out in agony, “Quincy! It hurts! Quincy…”
“Why are you crying? I didn’t mean to hurt you,” Baylee said arrogantly. “You hit me, but I didn’t cry.”
“Baylee, that’s it! Stop!” Quincy said with a frown. “I’m not going to fight a woman. Move, Ellie!”
“If you stay out of this, I won’t interfere,” Ellie snorted.
Quincy then advanced, and Ellieunched her attack. Quincy retaliated.
The two of them quickly engaged in a fight.
“Hey! Cut it out!” someone shouted.
“Mr. Rollins, Ellie, let’s calm down and talk this out!” another voice pleaded.
“Oh my God! Someone has to stop them. Is Kaiden here?”
“Where’s Marvin? Did you call him?”
“I don’t have Marvin’s number!”
Those nearby nced at Ellie nervously. Quincy was strong inbat, and the physical difference between men and women became evident. Ellie nned to retreat to safety after Baylee made Aphrodite learn her lesson.

But as she finished a side kick and stepped back, she unexpectedly bumped into someone. “Sorry…”
Ellie initially thought she had bumped into an innocent bystander. But as soon as she apologized, strong arms sped her shoulders, holding her firmly in a hug. A hush fell over the surroundings.
From Ellie’s vantage point, she could see Quincy staring past her. Almost instantly, Ellie knew who it was, as the embrace felt so familiar.
Turning her head, Ellie met Kaiden’s expressionless face. His usually calm demeanor was now intimidating.
“Are you hurt?” Kaiden asked coldly as he looked down at Ellie in his arms.
Ellie blinked and shook her head. “No.”
“Do you feel guilty, Ellie?”
