Chapter 882

    ?Chapter 882:

Thomasina’s smile froze on her face. Moments ago on the phone, Levy’s tone hadn’t been harsh; it had sounded like a gentle reprimand, which had emboldened Thomasina to stay. Now Levy’s expression told her that she was way out of line.

“Mr. Sanders, I… I am your girlfriend, and we have been together for nearly two months. I deeply miss you, which is why I’vee to your workce. I wanted to express…” Thomasina began, her tone shifting as she addressed Levy.

“You are no longer my girlfriend,” Levy dered, his patience and tolerance towards her having reached its limit.

    “Why?” Thomasina’s expression suddenly changed.

At that moment, Levy’s typically gentle and handsome face appeared unusually cold.

“Is this about Flossie?” Thomasina inquired, her eyes betraying a hint of jealousy.

Levy was momentarily taken aback, recalling the image of Flossie standing before him just an hour earlier. She had been dressed inly, her demeanor subdued. Yet her eyes were so pure that they had left him unsettled.

“I’m right!” Thomasina believed she had uncovered the truth. “Mr. Sanders, let me rify, the fan incident was instigated by Flossie to insult me, not my doing.”

After regainingposure, Thomasina proposed, “I’ll take responsibility and will reach out tofort her. Could you assist by inviting her to dinner after work as a gesture of apology?” She considered herself quite humble already. However, even in this moment, she didn’t hesitate to devise a scheme. She enlisted Levy’spany to embarrass Flossie!

Suddenly, Levy found Thomasina’s existence particrly annoying. He rang for his secretary to escort Thomasina out.

“Levy, I admire you greatly! I truly care for you!” Thomasina eximed anxiously.

Levy gestured to his secretary to escort her away without making eye contact with her.

She said she admired him and truly cared for him. Well, nearly every woman who parted ways with him would express that sentiment. He grew weary of hearing it, except for the sentiments expressed by Flossie.
