?Chapter 880:
Ellie noticed Baylee was heading the wrong way and asked, “Are you sure this is the route to the dorms?”
“Actually, Flossie doesn’t stay on campus anymore. She’s moved. That might be why she’s getting those threats,” Baylee exined.
The university had tight security, making it hard for overzealous fans to pose any real threat. Soon, Baylee pulled up in front of a modest apartmentplex.
She pointed to a more upscale neighborhood not too far off and said, “Levy often stays in one of those fancy houses over there.”
Clearly, Flossie’s decision to move had been influenced by Levy. After calling ahead to the property management, Baylee and Ellie were allowed into the apartmentplex.
Curious, Ellie asked, “Is Thomasina still with Levy? How long has it been now?”
“Last I heard, they were on the verge of breaking up, but Thomasina is holding on,” Baylee replied, pausing to think. “About two months, I’d say.”
Suddenly, Ellie grabbed Baylee and pulled her behind arge tree for cover. They spotted Levy and Flossie standing together not too far ahead.
Flossie lifted her head and gazed at the man before her. Her eyes betrayed shyness and unmistakable nervousness, yet she hesitated to avert her gaze. Levy, towering over her, observed every subtle movement she made. For instance, he noticed how she gently sped the hem of her dress.
“I apologize for causing you inconvenience. It’s my responsibility,” Levy casually addressed her as if they were ordinary friends. “I know someone who owns a vacant house with excellent security. You could rent it from him at a reasonable price.”
In fact, he lied about what he said: the “friend” he had just mentioned was none other than himself. Knowing Flossie well, he was aware that she would not ept his free offer of the house.
This time, she received the threat from Thomasina’s crazed fans, partly due to the poor security of the apartmentplex.

Flossie shook her head and firmly stated, “I don’t want to move elsewhere. This is where I want to live.”
The directness in her eyes nearlypelled Levy to avert his gaze awkwardly. He had been through many rtionships, allowing him to discern the undertones in her words. He often stayed here, so she wished to live here.
Just as Levy was about to respond, his phone rang.
“I’m not at the office…” Flossie overheard him say. “I’ve told you before, Thomasina, just because I care for you doesn’t mean you can show up at my workce.” Flossie’s heart sank.
In an instant, she was ovee with sadness as she looked at Levy. It sounded like Levy was on the phone with Thomasina.
He must have a deep fondness for Thomasina; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been so gentle when she defied his wishes. After ending the call, Levy sighed and began, “Flossie, you should…”
“If you have something to attend to, feel free to focus on your tasks!” Flossie forced a smile, cutting him off. “There might have been a misunderstanding with Miss Aston’s issue, but Baylee has already resolved it for me.”
