    Ellie introduced them to each other.


    It was Omiros and Baylee’s first meeting, though they had both heard of each other before.


    Ellie leaned in and whispered to Baylee, “What’s going on between you and Marvin?” Marvin had offered to help Kaiden, and since Ellie had epted the favor, she was naturally curious.


    Baylee nced at Omiros before meeting Ellie’s gaze. She sipped her water, buying herself some time.


    When Omiros left the room to grab some snacks, Ellie turned to Baylee and said, “At Marvin’s birthday party, I saw him kiss you forcefully. And you didn’t resist.”


    “He didn’t kiss me forcefully!” Baylee put down her ss and exined, “Actually, I was the one who initiated the kiss.”


    Ellie was shocked and confused. After a moment’s pause, she asked, “So, you two are together?”


    Baylee shook her head and replied, “The day after the kiss, I went to Sacrapa for an auction. I returned yesterday and haven’t had time to sort things out between him and me.”


    Ellie wanted toment, but she stopped herself.


    Suddenly, there was a noise behind her.


    Omiros was struggling to bnce many snacks in his arms, some of which fell to the floor. He looked dumbfounded.


    “I’m not eavesdropping. I just happened to hear it!” Omiros said, staring at Baylee. “Baylee, you are so bad.”


    Pursing her lips, Baylee snapped, “But look at what Marvin has done! Everyone thinks we’re together now. Isn’t he the bad one?”


    Omiros asked tentatively, “So does that mean you two are a good match?”

    “Well, not necessarily,” Baylee groaned.


    Ellie rubbed her temples, feeling speechless after their heated exchange.


    Baylee sighed and said, “I’ll talk to him soon. It’s not a good idea to dy this conversation.”


    Ellie didn’t ask how Baylee nned to handle that awkward talk. But seeing as Baylee hadn’t stopped Marvin from ying his games, Ellie guessed the conversation would go smoothly.


    As Baylee’s friend, Ellie feltfortable epting Marvin’s help for Kaiden.


    Taking advantage of his day off, Omiros began scrolling idly on his phone. Ellie was chatting with Baylee when she suddenly noticed Omiros looking at them strangely.


    “What’s wrong?” Ellie asked.


    “Why didn’t you guys tell me something happened to Kaiden?” Omiros asked, showing them his phone. “Carole has Leo’s test report. Why didn’t she show it earlier?”


    Carole had released a video through a major domestic mediapany.
