Chapter 726

    ?Chapter 726:

“Kaiden and Ellie are the epitome of young love! They could be straight out of a romance movie! Their affection is truly enviable.”

As time ticked by, the auditorium filled to capacity with eager spectators for the final.

More and more heads turned to steal nces at Kaiden and Ellie, drawn by curiosity and the growing buzz.

Ellie whispered softly, “They’re all staring at us.”

Kaiden’s gaze swept the room, already knowing that they had been the focus of attention long before she noticed.

“Should we leave or stay?” he asked, scanning the crowd.

Ellie hesitated for a moment before answering, “It doesn’t matter. With this mask on, they won’t recognize me.”

She chose to remain seated. Her status as a campus celebrity at Critport University made it nearly impossible to escape the spotlight, and she worried that leaving would cause a scene and disrupt the event.

Kaiden’s eyes lingered on her features.

Even with the mask partially covering her face, Ellie’s beauty still shone brightly. Her eyes held an innocence that effortlessly captured the attention of anyone who nced her way. Her graceful figure made her easily identifiable, even to her legion of fans.

The mask did little to disguise her identity, not as she had hoped.

As the hosts announced the beginning of the singingpetition, the lights dimmed, enveloping the room in darkness.

All eyes were fixed on the stage as the spotlight illuminated the first contestant.

Ellie let out a quiet sigh of relief, feeling the weight of the attention lift from her.

Uninterested in the performance, Kaiden held her hand and closed his eyes, settling in for a quick nap.

Ellie listened intently to the melodic voice on stage, tapping her foot to the rhythm. She refrained from pping, her hand still held firmly by Kaiden.

In the dim light, she leaned closer to observe his expression, only to find him already dozing off.

A wave of regret washed over her. She should have realized that he needed rest, especially with his heavy workload. He wasn’t even a fan of concerts.

He might as well go home rather than sit bored to sleep in the auditorium. While Ellie wrestled with her feelings of self-me, Kaiden’s eyes fluttered open, mischief sparkling within them.

With a quick motion, he stole a kiss through her mask, leaving her blushing and flustered.

Ellie’s hands flew to her mouth in surprise, her eyes widening like a startled cat. She was speechless, unsure how to react.

Kaiden grinned. “Bored of the show? Let’s go home, then. We can find something more exciting.”
