    Anybody observing Kristopher would notice that he had worn a polite smile from the start, but it was insincere. Only when Ellie praised him did the mask fall, revealing true joy in his eyes.


    The host continued, “Most people are unfamiliar with how an auction works. Miss Curtis, would you take the viewers through the live auction tonight so they can experience the fun?”


    The staff handed Baylee a tablet to view the onlinements on the live-stream. Then, they turned on therge, open-air screen. Baylee had suddenly be the auctioneer for the evening.
