Chapter 634

    ?Chapter 634:

“Come to the dock,” Kaiden told her.

With that, he hung up the phone.

Almost at the same time, Garfield received a text from the ind’s security. He informed Ellie, “Miss, there’s a man at the dock iming he’s here to see…”

Before Garfield finished his words, Ellie dashed off, phone in hand.

Baylee, eyes wide with surprise, murmured, “Is Kaiden actually here?”

“Just as we were talking about him — the miss’s husband makes his appearance!”

Afterwards, Garfield had the chef prepare extra dishes and, as he left to deliver them to Kristopher, he said, “I’ll be a delivery man. Miss Curtis, make yourself at home.”

Later that afternoon, Kristopher sat in his wheelchair, soaking up the sun.

Seeing him, Darrell recalled the embarrassment of his earlier behavior, feeling a surge of anger, and rushed over to confront Kristopher.

“Kristopher, I’d strongly suggest you stay out of the dispute between me and the two bitches, Ellie and Baylee! Or else, you’ll learn your lesson the hard way!”

Kristopher was initially watching Ellie’s house, but suddenly, Darrell blocked his view.

He looked down, visibly annoyed, at the hand that was clutching his shirt.

Darrell, mistaking Kristopher’s silence for fear, was on the verge ofughter.

But then, a loud scream broke the silence.

In an instant, Kristopher stood up, forcing Darrell down with his face against the ground.

With his knees on Darrell’s back, Kristopher applied pressure, eliciting a pained shout from him.

    Darrell was frightened.

He hadn’t expected the seemingly frail man in a wheelchair to possess such strength. Kristopher acted so fast that he couldn’t react!

“Do you really think you can intimidate me?”

Though Kristopher spoke softly, his words sent a chill down Darrell’s spine.

Before he could say more, an assistant interrupted, “Sir, Garfield has arrived.”

Kristopher warned, “Darrell, mind your own business if you value your life.”

Darrell felt a shiver run through him, suddenly too terrified to utter a single word of defiance.

By the time Garfield approached, Kristopher was back in his wheelchair, appearing unchanged, while Darrell stood there, head bowed, trembling.

“Mr. Wright, this is for you. I hope you enjoy the caviar,” Garfield said with a smile.

Kristopher epted it with a simple “thank you.”

    “Garfield, he was just…”

Darrell’s attempt to speak was cut short by a sharp look from Kristopher, the coldness in his gaze unmistakable.

“Does he get the caviar and not me?” Darrell asked, shifting the topic.
