?Chapter 422:
Elliey in the bathtub, a small, satisfied smile on her lips as Kaiden washed her. At that moment, she was as limp as a pampered cat, able to do nothing but enjoy Kaiden’s ministrations. She exuded elegance, seduction, and charm. Seeing her in this state filled Kaiden with pleasure.
After he finished cleaning her up, Kaiden carried Ellie to the bed and tucked her in. She was about to drift off when she suddenly remembered something.
She asked, “Kaiden, don’t you want to ask if my work went well?”
“Did your work go well?” Kaiden asked obediently, brushing away the hair sticking to Ellie’s cheek.
Her face was partially hidden in the quilt, but she managed to peek at him with one eye. There was a mischievous glint in her gaze, like a clever fox scheming for mischief.
She teased, “Didn’t you order Bruce to pay special attention to my work? So how could you not know if it went well?”
Kaiden withdrew his hand and stared at her nkly. “That was Bruce’s own doing.” He wasn’t about to admit he had paid special attention to Ellie.
“Really?” Ellie lifted her head from the quilt and turned to face him. “Then who was watching the Light show live during a meeting?”
Kaiden swiped his tongue against his mrs and posed a question of his own. “Did Bruce tell you that?” Tomorrow, he would certainly get back at Bruce for his loose mouth.
When Ellie saw Kaiden’s deted reaction, she felt a surge of triumph, but she quickly tempered it.
Before she could get too cocky. After all, they were still in bed, and Kaiden could easily decide to make her pay.
“Kaiden, you paused a meeting to watch a live stream. That’s such a ludicrous thing, and Bruce didn’t even advise you against it?”
“He’s my subordinate. How could he advise me?” Kaiden’s voice carried a defiant tone.
Ellie could tell Kaiden was starting to develop a tendency for shirking work. She couldn’t help but advise, “Just don’t do that next time. It won’t reflect well in the office.”

Unperturbed by her reproachful tone, Kaiden enveloped Ellie in his embrace and stared down at her with a dark, intent gaze. He smirked. “If you can’t sleep, want to have some fun together?”
“I’m sleeping!” Ellie immediately shut her eyes.
She knew exactly what his idea of fun was, and it was far too much for her.
The next day, when Ellie woke up, she realized that Kaiden had already left for work. Judging by the faint warmth left on his side of the bed, he must have been gone for a while.
She had just turned over and was about to get out of bed when she noticed a deed of gift on the bedside table. Curious, Ellie opened it, and her mouth fell open in shock when she realized it was for a Gulfstream private jet.
And the recipient of this gift was Ellie.
She immediately reached for her phone and called Kaiden. “I found a private jet deed of gift on the bedside table.”
Kaiden nced at the time, noting it was only 9 a.m.
He teased, “You woke up quite early. Seems likest night wasn’t exhausting enough.”
Ellie blushed but refused to be distracted by him. “I found a private jet deed of gift!” she dered.
