Chapter 298

    ?Chapter 298:

Kaiden wasn’t in the best mood, and now it plummeted further.

Observing Howard a few steps away, Kaiden noted how he asionally stole nces at Ellie. Not intrusive or offensive, but there was a subtle restraint in Howard’s eyes.

Men understood men best, and ording to Kaiden, Howard’s look wasn’t just casual.

Kaiden remembered what Edwin had told him and found that it was true. Ellie was a ma for attention.

The school event concluded, and as Ellie exited, she became the focal point for eager juniors.

A few of them wanted to snap a picture with Ellie, while others wanted to ask her questions about her studies.

Among the campus big shots, Ellie remained an approachable peer.

Even though Ellie was encircled and immobile, she still smiled.

Howard, from the student council, timely intervened. “Ellie has other ns, folks. If you have more questions, we’ll arrange a lecture.”

Ellie exhaled with relief as the crowd parted, and she turned to Howard, saying, “Thank you so much today.”

A faint flush yed across the face of Howard, who had been standing firmly on stage only moments before. “Ellie, you’re wee. But I did promise a lecture…”

“No problem. I can make time,” Ellie assured, not one to decline helping juniors.

Howard’s eyes gleamed as he pulled out his phone. “Mind sharing your WhatsApp? So we can connectter.”

    “Sure.”

After sharing her WhatsApp with Howard, Ellie felt a piercing stare.

She looked around. Kaiden stood a few meters away with a few educational leaders around him, his eyes deadly focused on her and Howard.

“Ellie, what are you looking at?” Howard asked in confusion.

“Nothing.” Ellie, looking away from Kaiden, queried Howard, “Where did you find those pictures of me? I barely have some of them.”

“Your fans in the student union collected them,” Howard exined.

“Ah, I see. I’m heading out now. We’ll chat about the lecture on WhatsApp.” Ellie didn’t suspect Howard, and she was blind to the unusual expression on the student’s face who stood next to Howard.

    “Okay, bye.”

Once Ellie left, Howard’s eyes flickered to her WhatsApp a few more times.

“Howard, it is true that some of Ellie’s fans are present in our student union. However, except for the server push that we carried out, you got the remaining photos yourself,” the nearby student, putting a hand on Howard’s shoulder, asked, “You’ve known Ellie for a while, haven’t you?”

Howard nced at the student. “Finished your work in the publicity department? Save the gossip!”
