?Chapter 284:
Omiros gazed at Ellie, his expression nk. “That assumes I get into college.”
Ellie was puzzled.
“My grades are unsatisfactory,” Omiros admitted.
Uncertainly, Ellie asked, “Are your grades truly that poor?” Omiros regretted thinking Ellie was understanding.
“I’m no genius. I want to pass too. But I can’t!” Omiros was close to tears.
Ellie reassured him, “A world champion can’t be dumb.”
“You don’t understand. That bastard Kaiden was reciting poetry at three. I couldn’t even say ‘Grandma’ then. Next to him, I felt slow. It’s been a shadow over my childhood.”
Ellie thought Omiros and Edwin shared something inmon. Kaiden’s voice echoed from the stairs. “Who are you calling a bastard?” Omiros scoffed, ignoring Kaiden.
After a moment, Omiros turned to Ellie. “What about your college exam?”
“I didn’t sit for it,” Ellie replied.
Omiros’ eyes sparkled, seeing a fellow spirit, about to tease Kaiden, “See, even your wife…”
Ellie continued, “I was rmended in my second year of high school.”
Omiros was speechless.
He fell into a state of unimaginable dread.
He felt unworthy of stepping foot in that house.
Despite Omiros’ protests, Kaiden arranged the best tutor and relocated Omiros to the guesthouse. A servant was assigned for his daily needs, and bodyguards ensured he couldn’t leave.
In the study, Ellie raised her concerns to Kaiden. “You’re pushing Omiros so hard with his studies. Aren’t you worried it might affect his work?”
If Omiros truly didn’t want to study, he could just endure these months.

Gazing towards the guesthouse, Kaiden replied, “If he doesn’t get into a top university, he’ll retake the entrance exam. Time is precious for professional e-sports yers.” His approach was strict.
Too strict, Ellie thought.
“But isn’t it too much for Omiros? Only six months left and he said his grades are unsatisfactory…”
Ellie found it challenging to sympathize with him, considering she had always been an exceptional student during her school days.
“He’s never studied seriously before. Now, he needs to double his efforts. It’s only fair,” Kaiden replied indifferently.
Ellie pitied Omiros. He was miserable. Then, she remembered something. “I’m inviting Freddy for dinner in two days. I won’t be home for dinner.” Freddy was in Critport for a month. Since Ellie had promised to treat him, she wanted to get it done sooner.
Kaiden beckoned Ellie closer.
Leaving herptop, Ellie approached him, curious. “What is it? Need some help?”
