    Looking at Ellie, who was shivering, Susanna asked gently, “Ellie, are you okay? Your hands are frozen blue!” As she spoke, Susanna gave Ellie a cup of hot water.


    “It’s okay. I’ll be fine,” Ellie replied as she took the cup of hot water. She felt so cold, and her head was aching.


    Wearing a down jacket and holding a hot water bottle in her hand, Demi walked past Ellie and said as if nothing had happened, “Thank you, Ellie! You have to work harder as a team member!”


    When Demi went far away, Susanna turned to Ellie and whispered in a soft, low voice, “Ellie, are you at odds with Demi? I have the feeling she is deliberately trying to make life unbearable for you here!”


    “Yes, I am at odds with her,” Ellie replied calmly.


    These three hours of torture in the freezing cold were Demi’s warning to Ellie of hering revenge.


    “A bitch. She’s not even remotely as beautiful as you, but she’s so sneaky!” Susanna muttered, clenching her fists in anger.


    Hearing what Susanna said, Ellie realized that Susanna only judged people based on their looks.


    When Ellie returned to her room, she quickly took a hot shower, then put on some warm clothes to keep herself warm. Shey in bed for a while. However, she felt increasingly dizzy and sneezed several times.


    She seemed to have caught a cold.


    Suddenly, her phone rang.
