Chapter 76

He whispered into my ear between tech presentations, his breath grazing my neck, making it nearly impossible to focus on anything but him. During speeches, he leaned over to murmur jokes only I could hear. Stolen kissesnded on my temple, my jawline, the corner of my mouth.

Liam ck had entered full PDA mode, and judging by the stunned nces we were getting, no one had seen iting.

Not the press. Not the attendees. Not even me.

By the time the event wrapped up, I could barely remember half the speeches or tech presentations. All I remembered was Liam’s presence at my side, thefort of his touch, the way he kept iming me without words.

Back at the car, I thought we were heading home. My heels were ready toe off. But Liam had other ns.

“We’re going out,” he said casually, loosening his tie. “I’m not done making my point.”

I blinked. “What point? You kissed me in front of every reporter in California.”

He turned to me, eyes dark and mischievous. “That was just the intro.”

I rolled my eyes. “What next?”

He smirked. “We’re going to the club.”

“A club? Since when do you club?”

“Since I realized I have something to celebrate.”

    I raised a brow. “And what’s that?”

    “You,” he said simply.

We returned home, changed clothes, and the Liam that stepped out of the walk–in closet wasn’t theposed CEO. No. This was Liam ck: low ck tee, expensive chain, a watch that screamed power, and a look in his eyes that promised fun.

I slipped into a crimson wrap dress that hugged my curves like it was custom–stitched for seduction. As we stepped out of the car at the club’s entrance, the shes began immediately.

Paparazzi had been tipped off Cameras roared like thunder.

“Mr. Liam! Is she your girlfriend?” “Are you dating Emily from the Mason tour photos?” “Was the kiss staged or real?”

Liam didn’t say a word. He just ced his hand at the small of my back and guided me inside like he owned the ce. Like he owned me.

The club was pulsing. A–listers filled the booths, music pounded from the DJ stand, and neon lights made everyone look ten percent more dangerous.

    Liam ordered shots.

    Then bottles.

    Then more.

Four shots in, I found myselfughing louder than usual, losing the part of me that overthought everything.

I didn’t even know when I started dancing, but the bass found my hips, and I gave in. Liam watched me for a while, lounging back like a king watching his queen own the room. Then he joined me. Hands on my waist. Mouth at my ear.

    “You’re driving me insane.”

    “Good.”

    “Twerk for me.”

    Iughed but obeyed.

His grip tightened, pulling me closer, whispering things in my car that made my knees feel weak. People were watching, but we didn’t care. I saw shes again from the back of the club, phones, maybe even press.

He didn’t mind. He wanted it.

We were two drinks past logic and ten touches into madness by the time we got into the car. Liam pulled me onto hisp before I even shut the door,

“Won’t see anything. Windows are tinted.”

He kissed me like the world might end that night. My head tipped back against the seat as his lips found the skin beneath my ear. My fingers threaded into his hair. Every red light was a tease. Every turn, a countdown.

By the time we reached the driveway, I didn’t remember a single song that yed at the club I only remembered Liam.

Inside, we barely made it to the bedroom.

His mouth was on mine the moment the door closed. Clothes disappeared in a frenzy of buttons and groans. He lifted me onto the dresser.

    “Say it,” he growled.

    “I’m yours.”

He pulled my hair back. “Again.”

    “I’m yours, Liam. All yours.”

The rest of the night was a blur of gasps, moans, nails scraping skin, and derations that didn’t need words. The kind of rough that left bruises… and begged for more.

We copsed after, tangled and ruined in the best way.

I woke up to the smell of him again.

Liamy beside me, shirtless, hair a mess, grinning like he’d just won a war.

“What?” I murmured, rubbing my eyes. “Why do you look like the devil just granted your favorite wish?”

“Nothing. Just… this is a good morning.”

I raised a brow. “You never smile like that unless you’re plotting something.”

    He chuckled. “Not plotting. Celebrating.”

    “Celebrating what?”

“Sophia gave me good news earlier.”

My stomach tightened. If it’s from Sophia, it can’t be good news.”

    “Check your phone.”
