Ethan was very good at taking care of kids. Dawn saw it with her own eyes, and that made her feel at ease. She handed Dulce over to him and went off to deal with her work.

Ethan frowned. “Who told you that?”
“Do I need someone to tell me?” the secretary snapped.
Her expression was awful. If it weren’t for Ethan’s status, she probably would have exploded already.
“Ourpany prepares flowers all the time. Every single time, Ms. Porter tells us to avoid white roses. If that’s not dislike, what is?”
Ethan pressed his lips together and said nothing.

She did that because she loved them.
