Jonathan ced the neatly–sliced steak in front of Anneliese and took away the piece she had been trying to cut in for a while, the entire chuck still intact.

“Thank you.” She smiled.
As she began eating, her eyes brightened slightly.
Jonathan did everything to perfection.

It was delicious.

Anneliese found herself wondering about his past loves.

She speared another piece of steak, then looked up at him curiously.
