Chapter 372 Clouds of Betrayal
“Ah! Your pants fell again!”
Timothy instinctively reached to pull up his pants, only to realize he had been tricked.
By the time he looked up, Anneliese was already walking toward the private room at the end of the hall.
Mnie also wanted to see the ce where Mikita had been fooling around with her husband.
She followed, and Perseus and Christopher, noticing the crowd on the other side of the hall pointing and whispering, just wanted to get out of there.
They quickly went after her.
Timothy hurried along too, shielding the almost–naked Mikita.
Anneliese stepped into the private room and almost gasped. The ce was set up to look luxurious and romantic.
Clothes were scattered across the floor. There was a huge swinging chair, candlelight, flowers, wine, and a heavy smell from the aroma oils.
She thought Timothy and Mikita really were a pair of wild lovebirds who only got bolder with
age.
“Ahh! You tramp! Does it feel great stealing someone else’s man?”
Mnie had been exhausted from the fighting, but the moment she saw the scene inside, her eyes went bloodshot and her rage returned. She screamed and lunged at Mikita.
Terrified, Mikita covered her chest with her arms, dodged aside, and ran to the bed. She grabbed the nket to cover herself and cried.
“Ma’am, please stop hitting me. Timothy and I are truly in love. We were drawn to each other, we couldn’t help it…”
Now that she had been caught, Mikita decided to make a scene.
She had been with Timothy since she was eighteen and had even given him two children, yet Timothy still refused to let her show her face.
She was tired of living in hiding, always kept in the shadows.

She was better than Mnie. Why shouldn’t she be the legal wife?
It would be best if Mnie had some sense, stepped aside, and given her the position.
But before she could finish, Timothy rushed to the bed and spoke in a stern voice.
“Mikita!”

Timothy didn’t want to upset the shaky peace holding things together. White Inc. was already giving him enough trouble. If his family fell apart too, it would be a disaster.
Mikita still feared him. At his shout, she lowered her head and cried.
Even so, Mnie trembled with anger after hearing Mikita’s words.
Timothy went to support her, but Mnie raised her hand and pped him across the face.
Timothy frowned, the red mark stinging on his cheek.
Mikita gasped, kneeling on the bed as if she wanted to go forward, but Timothy shot her a warning look that made her freeze.
Holding Mnie, Timothy coaxed, “Look at you. Is this really worth getting so upset over? The kids are watching. If you make yourself sick from this, it’s no good. She and I were just messing around, nothing serious. You can trust me, I won’t do it again, alright?”
He spoke softly, trying to calm her, while throwing nces at Perseus and Christopher.
The two caught on and stepped forward.
“Dad, you really don’t know this woman? She seduced you
first?”
“Of course! Honey, believe me. We’ve had three kids together. After all these years, you’re the one I love the most.”
“Dad, tell her to leave right now. Swear to Mom that you won’t mess around anymore.”
Christopher pushed him, and Timothy nodded before turning sharp eyes on Mikita.
“Why are you still here? Get out!”
Mikita was unwilling, but she didn’t dare go against Timothy. She got up and walked toward the dressing room.
In Timothy’s arms, Mnie cried and struggled. She hated him and was furious, but his

She wasn’t young anymore. As long as her husband didn’t stray again and didn’t threaten her interests, what choice did she have but to endure?
Mnie finally quieted down, and Anneliese, watching, wasn’t surprised.
She sneered. “I mean, Mrs. White, Perseus, Christopher, do you really think Mr. White and Ms. Hodge were just a fling? Look at this setup. And don’t you think Ms. Hodge’s face looks familiar?”
“Shut up! Anneliese, I never should’ve had you, and I never should’ve brought you back! You’re nothing but trouble!”
The moment Timothy heard her speak, his head throbbed. What scared him more was that from her words, it was clear she not only knew about his affair with Mikita, but probably also about Selina’s real identity and the baby swap from back then.
Those were things Timothy could never let Mnie and the boys know.
He roared in anger and stormed toward Anneliese, grabbing the belt from the floor, ready tosh her with it.
