?Chapter 238:
Catching a glimpse of therge bouquet of roses in the backseat through the rearview mirror, Belinda responded icily, “They’re both single. And yet, people online still use me of being the other woman in your rtionship with Miss Miller.”
As she spoke, her grip on the steering wheel tensed briefly. “I don’t want to be misunderstood anymore.”
Kristopher hesitated, then reached for his phone to browse through thetest online chatter. What Belinda said was true.
Despite their divorce being streamed live on the inte just yesterday, online trolls still targeted Belinda, branding her a mistress.
He scowled and muttered, “I’ll take care of it.”
Belinda’s smile was tinged with sarcasm. “Thank you so much, Mr. Cox.”
The truth was, she and Fred had made a discoveryst night.
Most of the ounts hurling insults at her post-divorce belonged to a part-time job group chat that Fred was part of.
They were still being instructed to attack her online as a “shameless mistress,” with new tasks being issued as early as six or seven in the morning.
The group was sponsored by “Kristopher and Cathy.”
The name left little doubt about who was behind the campaign. Yet here he was, pretending to be oblivious to the rumors, promising to help her deal with them…
As these thoughts swirled in her head, Belinda couldn’t resist throwing a sidelong nce at Kristopher as they halted at a red light. “Have you been taking acting lessons with Miss Millertely?”
With his superb dramatic skills, he could easily pursue a career in acting!
“NO,” Kristopher said, his frown deepening as he shot a sharp nce toward Belinda. “Why would I take acting lessons with her?”

Belinda simply pursed her lips, staring fixedly ahead. “It’s nothing.”
Despite her restraint, Kristopher’s keen perception didn’t miss a beat.
He had caught the sarcasm in her voice.
Turning to face her directly, his eyes narrowed. “Belinda, are you suggesting I’m just putting on an act for you?”
His intense gaze unsettled her, sending a ripple of difort through her.
To avoid his probing, Belinda cleared her throat and swiftly changed the subject. “You haven’t yet given me Miss Miller and Miss Cox’s address.”
Kristopher’s attention shifted out the car window, and upon realizing they were on the wrong path, he let the previous conversation drop.
With a calm demeanor, he told her where Cathy and Maggie were. “Looks like we’re off course.”
Reacting quickly, Belinda deftly turned the car around, setting their course toward the given address.
Observing herposed focus from the passenger seat, Kristopher felt an unexpected surge of admiration.
When had hest noticed the intensity of her beauty in such moments of concentration?
Before long, they reached the boutique where Cathy and Maggie were busy trying on dresses.<fne6c7> For original chapters go to F?ndNovel</fne6c7>
