    Without saying a word, Katelyn logged out, her face nk as she muted her notifications.


    She hadn’t anticipated this—not Zoey recording their conversation, not the audio tied to her jump, and certainly not Zoey posting it online after waking up. It looked like everything she’d done to warn and help Zoey had been in vain.
