<b>Chapter </b><b>161 </b>
“Well…where do <i>I </i>begin?”
Theo looked at Ma with love and happiness in his eyes and she gently took his hand.
“As everyone all know, these past six months <i>have </i>been <i>hell </i>for <i>our </i><i>family</i>. <i>Even </i><i>though </i>we had to show <i>face </i>and navigate throughout the world as if nothing <i>was </i>wrong, <i>we </i><i>were </i>all slowing drifting inside<i>.</i><i>” </i>
“Six months ago, our oldest son Kai…well he was in <i>a </i><i>horrific </i>car ident <i>that </i><i>left </i><i>him </iatose<b>.</b><i>” </i>
Theo’s voice broke a little as he reminisced about the ident.
<i>“</i><i>And </i><i>I </i>got to <i>tell </i>you…<i>After </i><i>a </i><i>while</i><i>, </i><i>we </i><i>were </i><i>starting </i><i>to </i>lose <i>hope</i><i>. </i>I <i>mean </i><i>we’d </i><i>tried </i><i>everything </i>to wake <b><i>up </i></b>our son and you all know <i>this</i>. From <i>medical </i><i>experts </i><i>to </i><i>shaman </i><i>priests</i><i>, </i><i>we </i><i>tried </i><i>everything</i>.”
Theo looked at Kai with sadness in his eyes.
<i>“</i><i>It </i><i>seemed </i><i>like </i><i>we </i><i>were </i><i>never </i><i>going </i><i>to </i><i>get </i><i>our </i><i>son </i><i>back</i><i>…</i><i>and our </i><i>family</i><i>…</i><i>we </i><i>all </i><i>felt </i><i>iplete </i><i>without </i><i>him</i><i>.</i><i>” </i>
Suddenly, Theo turned his gaze towards me.
<i>“</i><i>And </i><i>then</i><i>…</i><i>just </i><i>when </i><i>we </i><i>were </i><i>about </i><i>to </i><i>lose </i><i>all </i><i>hope</i>…<i>my </i><i>wife </i><i>found </i><i>his </i><i>guardian </i><i>angel</i><i>… </i><i>Grd</i><i>.</i><i>” </i><fn0912> Updates are released by f?ndnovel</fn0912>
Everyone’s gazes fell on me. I could myself blush from the attention as Kai beamed down and kissed my hand gently.
“<i>You </i><i>all </i><i>don’t </i><i>know </i><i>this</i><i>, </i><i>but </i><i>Gracie </i>is <i>an </i><i>excellent </i><i>violinist</i><i>. </i><i>And </i><i>it </i><i>was </i><i>through </i><i>her </i><i>love </i><i>and </i><i>her </i><i>music</i><i>…</i><i>that </i><i>my </i><i>son </i><i>was </i><i>able </i><i>to </i><i>finally </i><i>find </i><i>his </i><i>way </i><i>back </i><i>and </i><i>open </i><i>his </i><i>eyes</i>.<i>” </i>
Everyone began to p and cheer.
<i>“</i><i>Now </i><i>I </i><i>promised </i><i>Kai I </i><i>wouldn’t </i><i>make </i><i>a </i><i>big </i><i>deal </i><i>because </i><i>he’s </i><i>not </i><i>ready </i><i>to </i><i>announce </i><i>to </i><i>the </i><i>world </i><i>yet </i><i>of </i><i>his </i><i>recovery </i><i>but</i><i>… </i><i>I </i><i>jus </i><i>want </i>to <i>say </i>to <i>my </i><i>son</i><i>…</i><i>Kai</i><i>…</i><i>your </i><i>mother</i>, <i>sister</i>, <i>grandparents</i><i>…</i><i>hell</i><i>…</i><i>everybody </i><i>in </i><i>this </i><i>courtyard </i>all <i>love </i><i>you </i><i>so </i><i>very </i><i>much</i><i>. </i><i>We’re </i><i>so </i><i>happy </i><i>your </i><i>home</i><i>.</i><i>” </i>
ps and cheers began again as sounds of sniffling from tears poured throughout the yard. Kai’s expression was filled with warmth and love as he stared at his father.
<i>“</i><i>And </i><i>to </i><i>Gracie</i>…<i>I </i><i>don’t </i><i>think </i><i>my </i><i>wife </i><i>could </i><i>have </i><i>picked </i><i>a </i><i>better </i><i>choice </i><i>of </i><i>fiancé </i><i>for </i><i>our </i><i>son</i>…<i>She’s </i><i>looked </i><i>for </i><i>you </i><i>for </i><i>a </i><i>long </i><i>time</i><i>. </i><i>Thank </i><i>you </i><i>for </i><i>finding </i><i>your </i><i>way </i><i>back </i><i>to </i>us <i>again</i><i>…</i><i>back </i>to <i>my </i><i>son </i><i>again</i><i>.</i><i>” </i>
<i>“</i><i>I </i>KNOW <i>THAT’S </i><i>RIGHT</i><i>!!!</i>”
Ka’s words made everyone burst outughing.

Cheers and shouts of congrattions erupted throughout the courtyard as everyone hugged each other. Theo and Kai embraced lovingly, I made sure to capture that moment in a picture.
“Now <i>if </i>you could please find someone for my son<i>!!!</i><i>” </i>
Mina yelled making everyoneugh once more.
<i>“</i><i>Alright </i>let’s get <i>this </i>party started Christiansen <i>style</i><i>!!! </i>Woohoo<i>!!!!</i><i>” </i>
Ka and Londyn cheered as they turned on music while everyone mingled, chatted and danced. While Kai was chatting with his cousins and Tyler, I began dancing with the younger children.
<b><i>Kai’s </i></b><b><i>POV</i></b><b>: </b>
As I caught up with my cousins Parys and Dous, Tyler smiled and pointed over in the direction of Gracie.
<i>“</i><i>I </i><i>think </i><i>your </i><i>little </i><i>cousin </i>Lee <i>is </i><i>trying </i><i>to </i><i>steal </i><i>your </i><i>girl</i><i>.</i><i>” </i>
We all turned around and watched as Gracie danced with the younger children. Her face was bright, and her movements were fluent. You could tell she knew how to dance. I found myself wondering if there was anything she couldn’t do.
We all stared in amazement as she spun in circles and moved around with Lee who had a bright smile on his face. A rare sight as Lee was overly mature for a nine year old. I always thought he reminded me of myself, looks like his taste in women was simr as well.

“<i>Hey</i><i>! </i><i>If </i><i>she </i><i>does </i><i>I’m </i><i>calling </i><i>dibs</i>!<i>” </i>
Dous yelled out making us allugh.
The truth was, even if she did have friends….They wouldn’t be like her. I smiled smugly knowing I had the greatest girl in world and she only had eyes for me.
“Burn those who burned me!”
