Forget the 66

When I got there, ke was chilling in bed looking totally fine.

Seeing me, he lit up. “Raven, you came.”

I checked him out head to toe. Only saw this tiny bandage on his ankle smaller than a Band–Aid.

“If I’d waited any longer, would this have healed already?”

ke scratched his head sheepishly. “My bad, Raven. I totally cked out and the medics just… they face–unlocked my phone and called you. Didn’t even ask or anything.”

I put my hands on my hips. “Why not call Madison? She’s your girl now!”

I was pissed. Just ate a huge dinner, then raced over here and ran upstairs. Got a stitch in my side and everything.

    And I’m PREGNANT!

ke’s smile faded, looking bitter as he exined:

“You’re still listed as ‘Baby‘ in my phone.”

I took a deep breath and kept my mouth shut.

Heading out with my purse, I bumped into Madison rushing in.

She saw me and just smirked, but didn’t talk shit. Instead, she walked me to the hospital exit.

About to get in my car when she stood on the steps looking down at me:

“Raven, real talk. Is ke… like, bad in bed?”

    What the FUCK?

    I instinctively touched my belly.

Had ke’s bedroom game gone to shit along with everything else?

    Nah, that couldn’t be right.

I remembered those abs, those arms, that chest.

And how he acted all gentleman in public but was a total freak in private, like he had unlimited stamina.

I was curious as hell, but put on this knowing look like “girl, FINALLY you get it.”

“With Viagra, maybe three minutes if we’re lucky.”

My voice was all tired and defeated.

Madison stared at me like I’d grown a second head.

I leaned in: “So I seriously don’t get what you see in him.”

“Sure, he’s fine as hell, but dude’s useless where it counts.”

“And yeah, maybe he’ll bounce back someday, but right now he can barely feed himself.”

I patted her shoulder. “Sorry girl. Wrong timing.”

“Wow.” Madison’s face changed as she smacked my hand away. “You’re so basic.”

I pressed my lips together, studied her expression, then waved as I turned away.

“You’re the ssy one. Good luck with all that.”

I drove around the block then snuck back.

Getting dark, Madison came out, walked to the street, and got in that Maybach.

    Followed again.

Same routine–straight to those Malibu mansions.

She didn’t leave till way past midnight.

Now I was 100% sure ke was getting cheated on.

Some weird impulse made me go back to the hospital.

    Dude was knocked out cold.

I sat by his bed and started feeling him up.

The more I touched, the more his body heated up.

And Mr. Happy down there was very cooperatively saluting.

I felt relieved but even more confused.

Just as I’m pulling back to leave, my wrist got grabbed.

This low, rough voice came out of the darkness:

“Raven, you got me hard as hell and now you’re just gonna bounce?”
