On the eve of the charity g dinner, Xylia finally managed to finish Gina’s gown just before the deadline.
This ensemble featured a light blue mermaid gown crafted from satin with a pearl–like sheen. The bodice was ented with subtle pleating, further highlighting Gina’s curvy and toned figure. Around her neck was a pearl–sheen silk scarf.
The overall appearance was elegant and dignified; although dressed in in colors, it no longer seemed too understated.
Gina was very satisfied with this formal attire. “Thank you. I am very pleased with it. I will remit the remaining payment as soon as possible, noter than tomorrow morning.”
“Sounds great.” Xylia nodded.
She hesitated for a few seconds before tentatively asking, “Gina, I am currently promoting my studio through social media. May I record a video of this dress and post it to the first ount? Of course, as a public figure, even a single dress might have some impact. If you are unwilling, I will not post it.”
Xylia looked at Gina uneasily.
Unexpectedly, Gina made a sweeping gesture and said in a forthright manner, “It’s no problem. Go ahead and post it. Do you need me to help record a video as well, and I can help you promote it too?”
Xylia’s eyes lit up. “If that’s possible, that would be wonderful.”
They both acted swiftly; Gina assisted Xylia in recording a video.
Xylia said gratefully, “It is my honor that my studio has just opened and already received the support of a renowned celebrity.”
Gina smiled. “I will reach out to you again in the future. Please remember to offer me a discount.”
Xyliaughed. “I will offer you a 90% discount.”
Afterpleting Gina’s order, Xylia immediately copsed onto the sofa.
She had barely slept that week; each day upon waking, she immediately began working on drafts and handling procurement.
Fortunately, with Josie’s assistance, she was able toplete the gown this week; otherwise,

finishing it within this timeframe would have been highly uncertain.

Josie, with a lollipop in her mouth, walked over and sat down beside Xylia. “This short video was well shot. Once I have edited it, I will post it to our ount.”
Xylia watched her work and said, “Remember to send it only after Gina has finished attending the charity dinner tomorrow night.”
Josie nodded. “Of course.”
Xylia was really tired. After saying goodbye to Josie, she returned home.
She had just entered the house when I ran into Kaden, who had just returned.
When Kaden saw Xylia, he beckoned to her and said, “Xylia, I have something to tell you.”
Xylia walked up to stand in front of Kaden. “What is it?”
Kaden said, “Get ready to apany me to a charity g tomorrow evening.”
Xylia was puzzled, “Charity g?”
Kaden nodded. “Since you are starting a business, establishing awork of contacts is essential. At tomorrow night’s charity g, many leading business figures will be present. If you apany me and get to know a few more people, it will be beneficial for your studio.”
At that moment, Kaden’s tall figure appeared even more imposing in Xylia’s eyes.
She promptly nodded in agreement.
Kaden continued, “If you have a gown of your own design, wear it; if not, I will prepare one for you.”
Xylia smiled. “I’ll have to trouble you to prepare it for me, Kaden. So far, the only formal dress I have truly designed andpleted is still the one for Gina.”
The copyright for the previously created design drawings now belonged to Xavi.
Xylia had not yet properly designed a gown for herself.
Kaden dotingly gave Xylia a couple of gentle pats on the head. “Alright, I’ll get it ready for you. Go get some rest–just look at those dark circles under your eyes.”
Xylia smiled and went straight upstairs.

The silver–white strapless gown featured jewel embellishments on the skirt and a fitted waist design that entuated the waistline.
Kaden also hired a top–tier makeup team to style her, and two hourster, Xylia came downstairs.
Kaden looked Xylia up and down.
Her exquisite face was adorned with exquisite makeup. All her long hair was swept up at the back of her head, with a few loose strands falling gracefully beside her ears, intertwining with emerald–green earrings. Her delicate features and gentle temperament made her appear especially captivating.
Kaden nodded with satisfaction. “Not bad.”
Xylia was also quite satisfied with her
appearance.
She took Kaden’s arm and got into the car bound for the charity g.
The charity g was held aboard a cruise ship at a seaside location in Norhill.
When Xylia and Kaden boarded the ship, the banquet had already begun.
The banquet hall was elegant and luxurious, and the guests attending the dinner were either wealthy or of noble status.
As soon as Kaden entered the banquet hall, someone called him over.
Kaden lowered his head and said to Xylia, “The charity event has not officially started yet. Go to the dining area over there and have something to eat. I wille and find you shortly.”
Xylia gave a slight nod, and then Kaden left.
Xylia walked in the direction indicated by Kaden and soon arrived at the dining area.
A variety of desserts and alcoholic beverages were arranged in a row, and even the decorations were iid with luxurious jewels.
It was the first time Xylia had attended such avish banquet.
It certainly lived up to its reputation as thergest charity g in Norhill.
A familiar child’s voice came from below. “Mommy? Howe you are here?”
Xylia lowered her gaze and immediately saw Sonny standing by her.

He was dressed in a tailored suit, with a ck bow tie at the cor, and a precious ck diamond set at the center of the bow tie.
Small as he was, his hair waspletelybed back, revealing a handsome and clear little
face.
He looked at her with wide eyes and called her ‘Mommy,‘ as if there had never been any estrangement between them.
He asked again, “Howe you’re here?”
“Sonny!” The voice of Tessa came from behind.
Sonny looked at Xylia with aplicated expression, then turned and ran toward Tessa.
Xylia set down the small te in her hand and turned to look.
Tessa wore a ck satin gown, her long hair cascading over her shoulders. Her makeup was refined, and therge earrings entuated her innate wildness. As a dancer, her exceptional physique was disyed to its fullest.
Sonny ran up to her, and she frowned and asked with concern, “Did you not promise Mommy that you would not wander off? Why are you engaging in conversation with strangers so casually?”
After she finished speaking, Tessa only then raised her gaze, as if she had just noticed Xylia, and deliberately said in a surprised tone, “Ah! Xylia! You’re dressed so beautifully now that I didn’t recognize you at first. You didn’te alone, did you? Isn’t your old boyfriend with you?”
Every time Xylia heard Tessa speak, she couldn’t help but want to shut her up.
Tessa’s speech consistently blended a gentle tone with an undercurrent of hostility, deliberately targeting Xylia for attack.
For example, she deliberately imed to be Sonny’s mother in front of Xylia, or she intentionally mentioned her old boyfriend, leading outsiders to misinterpret him as her sugar daddy.
Fortunately, Xylia was not very concerned about these things now,
She had no desire to pay attention.
However, the two women apanying Tessa sized up Xylia with undisguised contempt. “Tessa, is this the sister you mentioned?”
The other one said, “She’s got that vixen look, but I didn’t expect her to be so not picky when

ites to men. Hey! Who’s your geezer boyfriend? Come on, tell us so we can check him out!”
Tessa deliberately covered her mouth and spoke with evident frustration, “I misspoke earlier. My sister’s boyfriend is not a geezer, but rather a chauffeur employed by the Garcia family. My sister even divorced her husband for this chauffeur. They are truly in love.”
