Leon broke into showbiz all on his own, never once dropping the Sadler name.
Hardly anyone even knew he was part of the Sadler family.
Yet, Joshua knew.
It seemed like his guess was spot on. Xylia was really close with the Sadler family.
When Leon got to Xylia’s hospital room, Yana had already left early for somepany business.
Xylia’s eyes went wide when Leon took off his mask. “Mr. Sadler!”
“I haven’t had a chance to thank you for what happened today,” she added.
Leon walked over and sat down by the bed, giving her a warm smile.

“You gave me the chance to help out today. It really made my day. Honestly, I should be the one thanking you,” he said.
Xylia was taken aback for a moment and then chuckled.
She never would have guessed that the untouchable Leon was actually such a quirky guy.
“The cops couldn’t find any evidence, and the Ford family just brushed it off as a family matter, so the police let it go,” Leon exined.
Xylia had seen thating, so she wasn’t surprised or upset.
“It’s fine. Still, thanks again. If it weren’t for you today, I would’ve gotten beaten up,” she said.
“Does this happen to you a lot at home? That’s domestic violence. It’s against thew!” Leon blurted out, clearly pissed off.
Xylia shook her head. “It’s my husband’s cousin. He’s got a few screws loose.”
She really didn’t want to get into it.
She looked at Leon with a smile. “Thanks foring by. Would you mind giving me an autograph?”
Leon didn’t get what she meant at first.
When Xylia pulled out a piece of paper and her jacket from the side, he looked at her, surprised and a little pleased.
“You… want my autograph?” Leon blinked, still a bit stunned.
Xylia nodded. “You’re my idol. I’ve watched everything you’ve been in.”

‘I totally keep up with all the celebrity gossip too. But there’s no way I’d actually ask him about it… she thought.
Leon was absolutely thrilled.
His own sister was actually his fan. If the other three found out, they’d totally lose it with envy.
Seeing how hyped Xylia looked, he quickly nodded. “I’ll sign. I’ll sign.”
He autographed Xylia’s jacket.
Then he looked at her and said, “Let’s exchange numbers. If you ever need anything, just hit me up.”
Xylia couldn’t believe it. Leon, a superstar, was actually offering to exchange numbers with her.
She thought, ‘Doesn’t he worry about his info getting leaked?‘
“You don’t want to?” Leon asked, looking a little disappointed when Xylia didn’t reach for her phone right
away.
“No, no! I do!” Xylia quickly grabbed her phone.
After they exchanged numbers, Leon didn’t stick around the hospital for long. He put his mask back on and headed out.
As soon as he stepped outside, he couldn’t wait to text the family group chat.
Only Hot Guy in Town: [Xylia said I’m her idol! Bet you didn’t see thating, huh?]
Total Good Guy: [What?]
Motor King: [How did you even get to see Xylia?]
Head Honcho: [Pick up the call.]
As soon as Leon saw the messages, his phone started ringing.
Kaden’s calls were always urgent.
“How’s Xylia?” Kaden asked.
“She’s at the hospital. I talked to the doctor. She’s not badly hurt. She just got a bump on her head, so they wanted to keep her in for observation,” Leon replied.
Leon’s tone turned serious when it came to the important stuff.
“Kaden, Xylia’s marriage is far from happy. The Ford family is totally covering for their own members. We’ve got to get back at them for her,” Leon said.
There was a coldugh on the other end.

“The Ford family must have a death wish if they think they can mess around in Jupiton,” Kaden said.
“You’re right. None of them, young or old, is good. It’s a miracle they can even keep their business afloat,” Leon kept talking as he slid into his car.
Leon had just left when Joshua emerged from behind a pir outside the hospital.
‘So she really is the Sadler girl?‘ Joshua thought. He’d guessed right. Xylia was the Sadler girl from Norhill who’d been swapped years ago.
Joshua paused, shot off a text to his assistant, and strode back into the hospital.
Xylia was over the moon, clutching the jacket Leon had just autographed for her.
Despite her tough day, this small joy was enough to cheer her up.
Leon was her favorite actor. He was not only super talented but also drop–dead gorgeous.
Not only did Leon save her today, but she also got his autograph and even exchanged numbers with him.
She was so overwhelmed by all the surprises, and her head was spinning.
Joshua’s voice came from nowhere, teasing, “You really love that autograph, huh?”
“Of course. I’m going to treasure this jacket forever,” Xylia blurted out, not even thinking.
But right after she said it, Xylia realized something was off.
She looked up and saw Joshua, who was standing right at her bedside.
He kept his head down, his silver hair tousled by the breeze drifting in from the window. Those charming eyes that usually sparkled with mischief were now deadly serious.
‘Is he upset?‘ Xylia thought, a little surprised.
Once she realized it, Xylia quickly set the jacket aside and looked up at him.
Xylia blurted out, “How did you even know I was here?”
But the second she said it, she mentally facepalmed.
‘Yana is his boss. If he showed up, she must’ve told him,‘ Xylia thought.
Joshua set the fruit and food he was carrying down on the table beside her.
“Yana told me,” Joshua replied.
‘Just as I thought, Xylia thought to herself.
She watched as Joshua sat down on the edge of the bed, his eyes curving into that familiar, gentle smile.

Joshua teased, “Xylia, tell me. Who’s better looking, me or Leon, who autographed your jacket?”

Xylia was just about to say Leon was better looking, but when she nced at Joshua’s face, she hesitated.
Honestly, Leon and Joshua really had the same kind of vibe. Sharp jawlines, wless features, and even their hairlines were perfect. Both of them just radiated that same aura of ss and elegance.
But Joshua’s eyes were more charming.
“Is it really that hard to choose?” Joshua croaked.
Xylia felt like his voice was so seductive.
Honestly, his voice was even better than Leon’s.
Meeting Joshua’s obsidian eyes, Xylia gave him an awkward little smile.
“Did you bring me something to eat? I’m actually starving,” she asked.
She had to admit that Joshua definitely had the edge in looks, but saying it out loud would just be way too
awkward.
So she changed the subject without hesitation.
Xylia tucked the jacket by her pillow like it was a treasure, and then motioned for Joshua to set up the tray table so they could eat.
Joshua’s face fell, looking a little sulky.
Even though Leon was her brother, Joshua still couldn’t help feeling a twinge of jealousy.
He wanted to toss that jacket straight into the trash and burn it to ashes.
But faced with Xylia’s killer smile, he just couldn’t say no. He set up the tray table and ced the food in front of her.
He’d brought cereal and some light snacks.
“Start with something light. I’ll bring you something more fillingter,” Joshua said.
Xylia passed him a fork, raising an eyebrow at hisment.
“What do you mean by that?” she asked, genuinely puzzled.
“Yana told me to look after you. Just doing my job,” Joshua replied, taking the fork and helping her with the
food.
“You really don’t have to do this. I could just get a caregiver to help,” said Xylia.
Before Joshua could respond, Connor’s voice came from the doorway, tight with barely contained anger.
…
“You’ve got a husband. Why do you need a caregiver?” Connor snapped.
