    I burst into Silvercrest Medical Center, blue anger glowing in my eyes, Reba’s sudden call had left me frantic, <b>and </b>when Emily phoned to tell me what had happened, I nearly lost my mind.


    The medical center staff, seeing my expression, immediately directed me to the special treatment room where Reba was being held. There, I found Emily standing guard outside, her expression grave.


    “How is she?” I asked, my voice hoarse with worry.
