    On the phone, Carman apologized profusely, exining that he had been busy with technical matterstely and that Jasmine had been managing thepany. He imed he didn''t know she would do such things.


    "Right now, I just want to know what you think," Noreen said, needing a clear


    answer.


    Carman was silent for a few seconds.


    And in that silence, Noreen knew the answer.


    "Let''s talk in person when you get back from your trip."


    Noreen didn''t say anything more and hung up.
