Chapter 927 - 927 Survival Of The Fittest

My brows creased slightly. I knew I couldn''t avoid this bastard anymore.

I looked away and stayed quiet, hoping to trick my way out of this mess.

    "What, getting cold feet now?"

But Kevin Adams had no ns to let me off easy.

He smirked. "Thought your strength was so great? Why aren''t you talking now?"

    I scowled.

If this kept up, I might lose control.

"Brother Adams, this punk definitely needs teaching."

Saumel Baton walked over from the side.

When I saw Saumel, my anger red even hotter.

I hated Saumel Baton''s guts and wanted to kill him right there.

"Hmm?" Saumel started looking me over closely.

"This guy looks kind of familiar."

My face went pale when I heard that.

Had he... figured out who I was?

"Hey, take off that hat." Saumel moved closer, his voice ice cold.

I red at Saumel Baton, fury burning in my head.

    "What, don''t understand English?"

Saumel snorted and reached for my hat.

I pped his wrist away without thinking.

That pissed Saumel off big time. He stared at me and snarled, "You dare fight back! Fine, I''ll use you as a warm-up today!"

Rage exploded in me. I jumped to my feet, ready to throw down!

The tension was thick - a fight could break out any second.

"You want to fight? Fine, I''ll fight you!" Zora Solomon stepped up.

He stared coldly at Saumel Baton. "You''re a punk who picks on weaklings. Want to fight? I''m right here!"

Saumel narrowed his eyes andughed. "Zora, don''t get cocky. If your dad was here, maybe you''d matter. You''re nothing."

"Screw you!" Zora roared and charged at Saumel.

"That''s enough." Kevin Adams pulled Saumel back.

He gave Zora a cold stare, ughed, and said, "Kid, your attitude won''tst much longer. After today, you so-called ''fancy boys'' from the Capital City elite families won''t exist anymore!"

After saying that, Kevin dragged Saumel away.

"You cowards! If you''ve got balls, don''t run!" Zora clenched his fists and yelled.

Watching this, I couldn''t help but smile bitterly to myself.

Zora seemed even more hot-headed than Be Tad.

"Thanks," I said, nodding politely at Zora.

Zora nced at me and grunted. "I didn''t do it for you. I just can''t stand that guy, that''s all."

    He turned and walked off.

I didn''t know whether tough or cry.

This kid was impossible to read.

Either way, the danger seemed to have passed for now.

    The mood was pretty weird.

Ever since the Martial Saints showed up, anger hung in the air like it could explode any moment.

My eyes swept around carefully, checking out the situation.

If things went bad, I''d have to think about showing those two bodies.

The ce was almost packed now, with more people arriving.

"Wonder what you useless people can aplish here." A Mystic Realm martial artist sneered nastily.

"Yeah, a bunch of bugs trying to grab the big spiritual stone mine - joke!"

"You really think someone who only reached Martial Saint after eight lifetimes can sit with us as equals?"

"Damn it, whoever wants to challenge us,e out and fight!" Be Tad thundered, full of fight, and jumped up first.

"You scared?" The other side didn''t back down, with several people standing up right away.

"Enough talking then, I''ll take you down first!"

    "Boom!"

Another brawl erupted on the spot!

Garcia Coleman looked at Star, who immediately stepped forward to break it up.

He waved his hand, and incredible power split the crowd in two.

Under that raw force, everyone froze!

    Everyone there was shocked!

Just lifting his hand had separated the two groups. What kind of power was that?

    Even I was stunned!

Among the Martial Saints, Star was clearly above the rest!

"If Star gets involved, Senior Ysabel could be in real trouble," I thought secretly.

"Everyone shut up." Garcia Coleman looked around, speaking coldly.

"The Capital City Martial Arts Association is running this meeting, so naturally we''re responsible for dividing up resources."

Everyone went quiet, waiting to hear what Garcia had to say.

Garcia cleared his throat and looked around, but didn''t speak. Like he was deliberately keeping them hanging.

This made everyone super nervous - they all stared at Garcia.

Even though they''d lost faith in the Capital City Martial Arts Association, there was still some hope buried in their hearts.

Garcia coughed lightly and said calmly, "The big spiritual stone mine belongs to no one. Normally, it should go to all the major families and martial artists."

He paused and changed his tone. "But... in any age, it''s survival of the fittest, especially in martial arts."

"So any resource distribution should be based on pure strength."

"I''m splitting the big spiritual stone mine into two parts - 1:9 ratio, with the Mystic Realm getting the bigger share."

    The ce exploded at that!

A 1:9 split? Nobody could ept that kind of division!

"Damn it, I thought Garcia Coleman would say something fair!"

"Trusting him was the stupidest thing I ever did!"

"This isn''t fair! We won''t agree!"

"Garcia Coleman, you''re a fucking animal!"

The scene turned into chaos with non-stop arguing.

Garcia seemed to expect this reaction and wasn''t surprised.

"You all think I''m taking the Mystic Realm''s side, right?" He squinted.

"What else? If a 1:9 split isn''t ying favorites, what is?"

"You call yourselves martial arts leaders - is this your leadership?"

Garciaughed coldly. "You''re wrong. I''m on your side."

"If it wasn''t for me, you wouldn''t get even a crumb. You think you deserve the big spiritual stone mine with your skills?"

The Mystic Realm martial artists started yelling too. "Exactly! If it wasn''t for the Capital City Martial Arts Association, we could take the whole spiritual stone mine!"

"Don''t be ungrateful. You should thank us for the one part you''re getting!"
