Chapter 902 - 902 Fury From The Shadows

I listened to the Pavilion Master''s ount, giving a slight nod.

"Jimmy Ysabel mentioned that reaching the Martial Saint realm isn''t something that happens overnight—it needs long-term buildup, making it tough for young folks to achieve this level quickly," the Pavilion Master went on.

"The earlier prophecy about you might mean that among your generation, you''ll be the first to make it."

I let out a sigh. "I hope that''s true. Until I reach the Martial Saint realm, I''ll probably need to stay low-key."

The Pavilion Master didn''t respond to that.

She kept talking. "While you were gone, big shifts happened in the martial arts world. The people who came out of the Mystic Realm and today''s martial artists really hate each other."

"I''m not being dramatic—they''re basically two opposing camps. Thanks to Jimmy stirring things up, lots of people now truly despise those from the Mystic Realm."

"Obviously, Jimmy will also do everything he can to shield people from this time period."

I nodded slightly and sighed. "That''s bound to happen. It''s like folks frompletely different social levels—the chances of them bing friends are pretty slim."

The Pavilion Master spoke earnestly. "If things get really bad, you could seek out Jimmy. He''d probably lend a hand."

I shook my head. "No thanks. I don''t want to drag others into this mess."

As I said this, Green Moon Vi suddenly popped into my mind.

I asked in a serious tone, "Lord Pavilion Master, who was behind what happened at Green Moon Vi?"

The Pavilion Master went quiet for a bit, then shook her head. "Don''t ask me about that. Check the Martial Arts Forum and you''ll find out everything."

Hearing this, I quickly pulled out my phone and opened the Martial Arts Forum.

The Martial Arts Forum was buzzing with activity.

Tons of people were trash-talking the Capital City Martial Arts Association.

Because the Mystic Realm showed up, both sides had built up serious animosity.

Since the Capital City Martial Arts Association decided to side with the Mystic Realm, many current martial artists got ticked off at the Association.

For me, this was actually good news.

After scrolling through several posts, I got a pretty good grasp of what was going on.

"The Capital City Martial Arts Association is actually hiring again, and they even set up a council," I couldn''t help but frown.

And the council chairman was none other than Walton Greer!

"How ironic," I smirked at this development.

As I kept browsing, I quickly found a video.

The video showed Saumel Baton ughtering Green Moon Vi''s disciples!

All sorts of vicious techniques were absolutely horrifying!

I broke into a cold sweat watching that video!

I stared hard at what was on the screen, gritted my teeth and growled, "Saumel Baton... I''m going to kill you!!"

I never imagined Saumel Baton could be so ruthless!

Right then, the Pavilion Master''s phone started ringing.

She looked at her phone, her brows creasing slightly.

"Mason, don''t move and whatever you hear, stay quiet," the Pavilion Master said, getting up.

    I frowned. "What''s going on?"

"Someone''sing," the Pavilion Master said those words and quickly left the Secret Chamber.

Sitting in the Secret Chamber without daring to make a sound, I closed my eyes slightly and waited quietly.

    ——

    Inside the Pavilion Master Building.

Saumel Baton, along with a Martial Saint, strutted up the building.

Ever since hest saw the Pavilion Master''s face, Saumel couldn''t get her out of his head.

Even after Ignacio Richard''s warning, hepletely ignored it.

"What brings you here?" The Pavilion Master looked at the sleazy Saumel Baton in front of her and couldn''t help but frown.

With a big smile, Saumel said, "I missed you, so I came for a visit."

The Pavilion Master''s face immediately turned ice-cold as she said sternly, "You''re not wanted here."

"Haha, so what if you don''t want me here?" Saumel wore a shameless grin.

The Pavilion Master grew even colder but had no choice because of the Martial Saint standing next to Saumel.

"Pavilion Master, in this age without a Martial Saint, every move you make will be tough." Saumel smiled cheerfully.

"Your Divine Alchemist Pavilion will need protection in these chaotic times too, right? Without a Martial Saint, the Divine Alchemist Pavilion will vanish eventually!"

Holding back her rage, the Pavilion Master asked, "What''s your point?"

Still wearing that cheerful smile, Saumel said, "Even though you''re getting on in years, you still look like a young woman but have a mature woman''s wisdom—what a prize!"

"If you''ll spend one night with me, just one night, I''ll protect you. How about it?" Saumel asked with a perverted smile.

Hearing Saumel Baton''s filthy words, the Pavilion Master couldn''t help but explode!

She said coldly, "You need to leave right now!"

"You look even more stunning when you''re mad..." Saumel reached out and casually touched the Pavilion Master''s face.

The Pavilion Master pped Saumel''s hand away, yelling, "Get out!"

Saumel snorted coldly. "Don''t think that just because Ignacio Richard has your back, I can''t touch you. Let me tell you, getting around Ignacio Richard isn''t that hard!"

"You make me sick," the Pavilion Master said coldly.

Saumelughed mockingly. "So what? Given your connection with Mason, everyone wille after you eventually. When that timees, let''s see what Ignacio Richard can do!"

"I''ll also tell you this—sooner orter, I''ll have you in my bed!"

After saying this, Saumel turned and walked away.

    ——

I heard every single word of this from the Secret Chamber.

My teeth clenched in rage, eyes zing, fists squeezed tight as fury flooded through me.

"Saumel Baton..." I muttered the name through gritted teeth. The intense anger coursing through my whole body nearly made me lose itpletely.
