Spike Viktor stopped dead for a split second, then bolted toward the opening.
When he checked, the crack had vanishedpletely!
Spike stood there, totally shocked!
The man had sealed the Mystic Realm breach just like that? And such a massive one too?
What kind of person was this middle-aged guy to have such insane power?!
"How... how''d you pull that off? Who the hell are you?!" Spike yelled.
The middle-aged man looked at Spike and said coolly, "You don''t have the right to know who I am."
"Then why''d you help us?" Spike got even more confused.
The middle-aged man gazed at Mabel Sean in his arms, smiled, and started walking away.
Spike tried to stop him, but the guy moved crazy fast.
Even though he looked close, Spike couldn''t catch up no matter how hard he pushed.
They didn''t even use the exit - just vanished right inside the Mystic Realm.
Dead silence.
Everything around them wentpletely quiet.
Just the soft sound of wind rustling through leaves.
Nothing else.
Casually fixing a Mystic Realm wasn''t something any regr person could do.
Even Martial Saints didn''t have those kinds of skills.
"Damn." Spike couldn''t help muttering to himself.
He jogged over to Mason Raymond''s side, quietly waiting for him toe around.
Outside the realm.
Audrey Williams had showed up.
But since the mysterious middle-aged man fixed the Mystic Realm, Audrey didn''t spot anything weird and took off.
——
Back in the Mystic Realm, I didn''t wake up until noon, still groggy.
I rubbed my eyes, then shot up from the ground.
I grabbed Spike''s shoulder in a panic and said frantically, "Where''s Mabel? Where are those two guys?"
Spike stayed quiet for a moment, then let out a soft sigh.
"Come on, tell me!" I shouted, getting more anxious.
Spike said seriously, "I can tell you, but you gotta be ready for this."
"Just say it already!" I yelled.
Spike sighed, "They took Mabel."
"Son of a bitch!" Hearing that, rage exploded inside me!
I spun around to get out of the Mystic Realm.
Right then, Spike grabbed me and asked coldly, "Where do you think you''re going?"
"I''m gonna find Mabel," I shot back coldly.
Spike said coldly, "I''d drop that idea if I were you. Those two guys are way stronger than you think."
"So what! They''re just Martial Saints," I snapped back coldly.
Spike took a deep breath and said, "The middle-aged guy casually fixed the Mystic Realm. You still think they''re only Martial Saints?"
Even with all my rage, those words stopped me cold.
I knew damn well that casually fixing a Mystic Realm meant insane power.
"Casually fixing a Mystic Realm... Didn''t you say only mighty realm cultivators could do that?" I turned around and stared at Spike.
Spike nodded, "Normally, yeah, that''s right."
"Could those two be mighty realm cultivators?" I couldn''t believe it.
The Mighty Realm is also called the Divine Annihtor Realm - its power is way beyond a Martial Saint.
In today''s world, Martial Saints are rare enough, let alone the legendary mighty realms?
"You still nning to go? Even if you throw your life away, there''s zero chance of getting Mabel back," Spike scoffed.
I went quiet.
This power gap made me feel totally helpless.
Even as a Martial Saint, I''d have trouble getting in, let alone against the mighty realm?
Seeing how down I looked, Spike patted my shoulder.
"Don''t overthink it. Those two might not mean any harm," Spike tried tofort me.
"Since they fixed the Mystic Realm before leaving, they probably weren''t trying to hurt anyone. No reason to do that otherwise," Spike exined.
My brow wrinkled.
They fixed the Mystic Realm? Why would they do that?
And... if they were from the Capital City Martial Arts Association, they would''ve killed me on the spot.
For a mighty realm cultivator to kill a Peak Form Military Marquis, it probably just takes one look.
I sat there for a while without saying anything.
My mind was full of questions.
Spike didn''t know what to say to make me feel better, so he just stood there quietly.
A few hourster, I got up from the ground.
"Since I don''t know who took Mabel, I''ll hunt them down one by one," I said coldly.
"I''ll make everyone who wants Mabel pay! I''ll kill them all!"
Mabel''s disappearance lit up the killing intent buried in my heart again.
The ice-cold killing intent made Spike shiver.
Without wasting more time, I jumped straight into my second round of training.
After hitting half-step Martial Saint, my strength shot up big time.
Compared to when I was Great Completeness Military Marquis, my aura was several times stronger. Anyone at my level would be like an ant next to me.
After three whole days, I absorbed half of the Dark Heart. But my cultivation barely budged.
That really freaked me out!
Half the Dark Heart for such tiny progress - how much stuff would I need to be a Martial Saint?
It was nuts!
Probably impossible for a whole sect to create a chaotic Great Completional body even with everything they had!
That day, I opened my eyes.
I took a deep breath, and my eyes lit up with a bright sh.
Then I walked over to Spike.
"What''s up?" Spike asked, looking confused.
I breathed deeply and said, "I''m nning to leave the Mystic Realm for a bit."
"Leave the Mystic Realm?" Spike looked surprised.
I nodded, "I''ve gotten everything I can from the Mystic Realm. No point sticking around."
"But... do you know what you''ll be up against when you leave?" Spike frowned.
I sneered, "Only by dancing on the edge of life and death can someone level up their heart''s essence the fastest."
"Besides... I need more resources."
